Cabin was spacious yet very cozy. The owner was great about responding quickly to any messages and was very accommodating. The dogs and kids loved the outside space. I was pleasantly surprised by how well stocked the kitchen was. It’s probably the best stocked kitchen I’ve had at a VRBO. Overall it was a fantastic rustic cabin up in the mountains.

"Fid was very helpful and communicating with us before and during our stay." - it is always a pleasure hosting someone like you, Ruth. Thanks for visiting :)
Communication was excellent with the host, who helped make our trip run smoothly. Staying in such a gorgeous cabin and being available from inquiry to checkout and after the trip, you can't ask for a better host. Host made sure that all places to go was memorable and doable for the whole family includingnour fur baby! Highly recommended to stay here and and wait to book a next visit.
We used this cabin for employees working to repair the fire destroyed facilities for the Department of Forestry. The cabin was very comfortable and the host was amazing! He communicated with me on everything and allowed on of our workers to bring his dog. We will be booking this cabin again! Truly recommend.

"the host was amazing!" - Wow! I know you book a lot of places so this means a lot. Thank you, Dee!
This was the first time staying in a mountain property and we were not sure what to expect. But Fid the host was impeccable in his communication and very thorough. The property is very beautiful. It has a charm that can only be experienced by those who stay. We were amazed by the attention to detail in every nook and corner of the house. The kids enjoyed the pool table and the fireplace was the favorite hang out spot for the adults. The kitchen is fully functional, it was a home away from home for us. Thanks for the beautiful memories, definitely plan to come again!

“It has a charm that can only be experienced by those who stay.” — Rajesh, wow! This is what makes it worth it. Your family is always welcome to enjoy our home. Thank you for visiting and please do come back! I have plans to improve it further and make it an even greater escape for you to enjoy.
Great house with very generous sleeping spaces. The location also was excellent as was our communication with the owner. The interior wood is especially beautiful. We were a group of 12 and had a great time. And incidentally Shipt delivers there no extra charge. The drive up the mountain and back down was stunning.
It's a cabin with plenty of comfortable space, I just found one problem, The living room is cold during the winter, The heating works very well in all rooms except the living room, But overall, everything is very good, this cabin is very comfortable

We are happy you had a great cabin-in-the-woods experience! Happy the space worked well for your family and that you enjoyed the games and snow activities. We’d love to host you again!
Great property for a family! It was very clean and close to the Ponderosa Lodge. We enjoyed a beautiful couple of days in the snow. The staff at the Lodge were very friendly including the bar cats, Smokey and Aspen.
Our property manager Hans was also responsive anytime I asked a question or needed anything during our stay. Would love to visit again!

Hello Pat, Glad you enjoyed your stay, due to recent fires our community has had trouble with bears getting into trash and spreading it around the area. We wish you had reached out to us during your stay and we would have had someone stop bye to collect the bear trash.
We had a wonderful stay in this home, very quiet and beautiful scenery amongst the trees. Close to trail of 100 Giants and a small hike to the dome rock lookout was a plus. Home had everything we needed with a rustic log cabin feel. Kids room was fantastic as well including toys and games. Before you book check road conditions and be prepared to pack your food, the main road to food locations was closed but the house had everything we needed to cook and prepare our meals. Thanks again Hans and Lianna for a great stay!

This was a perfect getaway spot! We had an amazing time exploring the Sequoias and this home was exactly what we wanted for our stay. The home was comfortable and welcoming. The hosts were extremely thoughtful in their communications leading up to the trip as well as while we were there. They made our stay very easy and pleasant. They had information about the area as well as the cabin itself laid out in a very thoughtful way. The whole experience was incredible! We can’t wait to go back!!
Great cabin for a large group!! Only negative was the wall heaters were not operable. We used fire place and some portables. Other than that, great place to stay!! Thanks Hans.

We are sorry but it seems that you must have not seen that we have central heating. We wish you had reached out so we could have helped you find the thermostat that is located in the living room.
The nighttime heating situation was the primary drawback. It was either too hot or too cold and the air in the cabin was super dry which made it hard to sleep. The stove also did not get very hot which made cooking winter stews difficult. Everything else was great!
Cute house, lots of space, and great location!
