Property in the parish of Canelas in Penafiel. The farm "Quinta do Bairro" has a size of 11000 square meter.
2 swimming pools (1 for children and 1 for adults). The adult pool has a salt treatment. The farm has 11000 squared meters. The house has 2 floors with 150 squared meters each. We have 5 suites, 1 dining room, 1 reading room, and a kitchen.We have internet and cable TV with several channels. It is ideal for those who seek to leave the city and seek tranquility and total silence. All the bedrooms have mosquito nets and bathrooms equipped with bath, bidet, shower, sink. It is close to the main points of interest such as the Douro River's Entre-os-Rios pier where you can take boat trips and the amusement park magikland. The house has excellent conditions for groups looking for retreats (such as yoga groups), as it offers indoor and outdoor spaces (including shade) suitable for activities. The single beds in the rooms are twin (you can put togheter to make a couple bed). A car is recomended but not obligatory.
Due to the current situation of the covid, carpets, curtains, toys, board games and books were removed for cleaning and disinfection reasons. All bedroom windows have wooden shutters, making it possible to block the light.

Great group getaway with lots of room and great view

This property fit our group perfectly. Five bedrooms each with its own bathroom. Lots of space inside and out. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city but a good central location for visiting Porto, the Douro Valley wineries, The Minhos and even the coast. Pedro, the owner, was great with recommendations and making us feel welcome. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la maison ( nous étions en famille : 6 adultes et 4 enfants ) ; le propriétaire est très sympathique et attentif ; juste une remarque : il faut charger les 2 poeles a bois quand il fait froid ( car les chambres sont chauffées à partir d'eux )

Gorgeous spacious property and pristinely clean. Surrounding property beautiful!

The village where property is located is very nice. Local restaurants were great. The house was lovely and we could have just moved in to live. The gardens are remarkable and we enjoyed the citrus lemons,oranges,etc. The flowering trees and plants were so pretty. The lilac bushes were so fragrant.Gardens were well maintained. We were a group of five and it was so convenient to have private baths in every room. There is a library that is also very well supplied. The fireplace in the kitchen was so nice and we enjoyed it on the cool nights. We had booked 10 nights and after we arrived wished we could stay longer. The owner,Pedro , is so helpful and accessible. He helped us with travel plans in surrounding areas. Couldn't have asked for more. We will definitely return to Quinta do Bairro and highly recommend it ! Brenda and Charles Logan
