Just what we needed.

We (me and my child) needed a place to stay while we had some work done on our home. This took place during the school year, so I wanted some place “homey”. You know, a home away from home. A place to make meals, do homework, and watch movies at the end of the day. This place was perfect. Great neighborhood feel while still being close to downtown fun. The host was super accommodating. I definitely recommend.

Birthday celebration

For my friends 60th birthday we went to dance club down the street and stayed in this property afterwards. This house was adorable, quiet neighborhood, clean, and eclectic home. Loved it! It was so cozy felt like staying in someone’s home. House has lots of character, cozy. Would definitely stay again! Host was friendly, not a party house, just a nice house to kick back and relax.

Previous/Current Chamber of Commerce member, Realtor for over 20 years, private business owner for 15 years. Currently own/run a landscape and gardening business. Host has built many relationships with local business owners to help with any guidance our Guests may have.

Why they chose this property

When I purchased this home there was 5 full price offers in 2 days! I fortunately prevailed! The home has "great bones" and offers a step back in time while still having a fresh feel throughout.
Our home also offers unique privacy that many in the city do not. Fenced back yard is lined with bamboo fencing on both sides, quiet neighborhood. The covered front porch also provides an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors with shelter. Inside the home is decorated tastefully to reflect owner's passion for travel, gardening, yet maintaining the integrity of the home's era (1920's to 1930's). Linens/towels/beds are all high quality and new. Bikes are available to rent short walk to hub. Child friendly, with pack-n-play, highchair, and stroller available upon request.

The location of this house is by far one of the best features. Home to several hospitals within 30 miles radius, expressways and freeways within 5 miles, easy on and easy off access. The Big 3 HQ, in addition to hundreds of Corporate HQ's all close. Public Transportation within 1 block. Woodward Avenue is less than a block away, and downtown a 5 minute walk.
