Pretty run down. Smelled like marijuana. The couch needs to be replaced. Great water pressure in shower. Appliances are decent. We didn't use the appliances much.

It wasn’t expensive so I had low expectations. The heat is always on, so very hot, so much that you have to run an ac unit in the bedroom to counteract the heat. No response from owner when I asked if thermostat could be turned down. In general a noisy house if you’re a light sleeper. Upstairs noise, dripping water, loud heating and air units. It was just okay. It served its purpose. Probably priced right for what you get.

We were visiting Oyster Bay for a family event and chose to stay here.The main review for this property is that it is very UNSAFE. We arrived in the dark and could not see to get into the apartment. Once we entered the property gate and the the exterior door to the downstairs apartment, there were 8 stairs going down to the interior door and they are fully concrete with no rug pads or any covering. There was no light that came on automatically and no light switch at the top of the stairs to turn on to light the way down. I fell and fell hard. We contacted the owner and did not get a response. Please be safe.The rest of the apartment was okay, but not like the photos. We would not choose to stay here again.

A good price, but listing is inaccurate. This is a basement unit and there was a lot of noise from the family living above very early in the morning, not “perfectly quiet” as described. There are only two beds and a very uncomfortable sofa - not a sofa “bed.” The code for the door was listed incorrectly in the parking directions of the listing so we were locked out for a long time before we were able to figure out how to get in. Host has fixed this error since we stayed. I was not able to locate the thermostat in the unit and it was very cold at night. Overall disappointing.
