Comfortable inside, outside conditions were fine except for flies and bugs but that was noted on description. Hard to enjoy the outside deck because of this but that’s just nature. Enjoyed farm and hike, lookout tower. Thank you

Palomar is a special place. There is a free app you might enjoy: Merlin Bird ID - it is amazing to open the app and learn the names of all the beautiful birds singing 'round the cabin.

We had a fantastic and restful time at this Cabin. Everything was as advertised and the host was friendly and helpful. The only downside for myself was the bed I slept on was too soft as I need a firm mattress. Other than that I would recommend this rental to family and friends and may even return back one day.

So sorry you didn't let us know about needing a firm mattress. Both mattresses in the loft are firm so we have nice toppers since most guests appreciate a little give. We would have been glad to remove the topper to provide a firm mattress for your stay. The bedroom is a queen mattress is by Sleep Innovations and has had many compliments.

We were very excited to come to this cabin , have been looking forward to it for a long time . The cabin was even better than expected and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there . Everything was very clean and comfortable , and we loved having a fire in the fireplace . Loved the deck where we spent many hours with the great view of the trees and many birds flying and floating around . We were able to take many hikes in the state park nearby and spent a day trip to the beaches . One day we went to the cute little town of Julian for shopping and a free concert which we really enjoyed . This is a great base for all there is to do in the area and we will book it next time we come . Bonnie was a great host and communication was always quick .

I had a wonderful experience. Everything was so perfect and clean. Well stocked with everything needed and it was decorated so beautifully. 10 out of 10
There was a little Christmas tree with the lights on when I arrived. So welcoming.
A friend came to visit while I was having my coffee on the deck.

Everything was perfect! The host gave amazing instructions ahead of time, and left helpful notes all over with instructions on how to use things. We really felt at home for our little Christmas in the woods! It was so relaxing and quiet, and there was no shortage of cozy blankets to cozy up to the fire and read a book or watch a Christmas movie! The kitchen is spectacular! I was able to cook everything we wanted with ease!

Beautiful Cabin

This was our second time staying in the cabin and we had a lovely time! It was beautiful in the snow and the fireplace heated up the whole place nicely. They had everything we needed for a weekend getaway and Bonnie was also really helpful when it unexpectedly snowed.
