We had a wonderful stay at this property. The hosts were gracious, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. The home itself was beautiful and very well maintained. The hot tub and game room were excellent amenities and truly enhanced our experience. We would gladly return and highly recommend this property.
This was a wonderful place to stay! The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating, kind and helpful. They provided breakfast each morning in their sunroom that looked out on their luscious yard. They paid close attention to detail... even had a welcoming banner saying "Happy 33rd Anniversary!"
Wanted a nice getaway for the weekend for my wife & I and this was an amazing spot. Julie & Ken were great hosts and their property was beautiful & so relaxing. We will definitely be returning for another weekend getaway!
A perfect spot, wonderful hosts, great breakfast, private hot tub that is amazingly good, located in a sweet area between downtown Grass Valley and Nevada City, would stay here again.
Bear Den BnB is the perfect place for rest and rejuvenating. It is quiet and peaceful, out in the forest in nature. The hosts are two of the kindest people, and they are sensitive to the needs of the guests - a rare quality! You will be so pleased with a stay at the BnB!karen

Perfect place. I enjoy the stay
Very nice and welcome people. The best hot-tub I ever been. My preferred choice if I need to visit Grass Valley again.
The space is amazing. The room is clean and even has some silverware and plates to use with the microwave to reheat your leftovers. The hosts are wonderful and very welcoming.
The owners were very attentive and couldn't be nicer. The property is absolutely beautiful with a great location. The owners are on site but give you complete privacy. You only see them at breakfast but as nice as they were, we truly enjoyed getting to know them. The room is adorable and easy direct outside access. When we are in the area next time, we will most definitely stay here again, hands down!
We had a very relaxing, enjoyable time. The hosts were fabulous, very approachable and friendly. We really enjoyed relaxing in the sunroom, being in the hot tub, and sitting by the fireplace in the evening. We hope to come again soon.
A beautiful stay, and the hosts were amazing! The living quarters are a little small for an extended stay, but the exclusive use of the gorgeous, spacious sunroom, more than made up for it. Sitting in that room looking out onto the beautiful property, was a peaceful way to start each day. The hosts were kind and attentive to our every need.

Beautiful and peaceful
A lovely refuge, with very kind hosts who had the perfect balance of warmth and friendliness with also allowing a lot of privacy.
My husband and I stayed here for a weekend retreat to celebrate our anniversary. Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The hosts are so nice and accomodating. The sunroom was stunning and the room was cozy. Highly recommend for a getaway in the woods. We will definitely be staying again!
It was a wonderful place to stay and breakfast was quite good. The owners went above & beyond. The property looks a little more remote than it actually is: which turned out to be super convenient for accessing either Grass Valley or Nevada City.
We were greeted by Julie & Ken, our hosts and taken on an orientation tour. Our hosts were kind and thoughtful throughout ouur stay. This B&B was exceptional and delightful. Breakfasts were delicious and served in a special sun room/ dining room that Ken and Julie called our living room. Our bedroom was cozy and comfortable. The gardens, koi fish and waterfall, hot tub, and patio extended our private space. We loved it here and recommend it.
We loved our time at Ken and Julie's home in Grass Valley. It's a wonderful setting and excellent getaway, close to everything but still tucked away in the forest where you can get some great downtime. Highly recommend!
My wife and I had a great experience staying here for our anniversary. The backyard and sunroom are beautiful and well kept. Great place to get away for a relaxing romantic weekend. Also loved the hot tub surrounded by trees. The hosts were very nice and accommodating. Would definitely go back
