About this property

Beautiful Gite with bedroom loft, new kitchen, fully equipped w/AC/heat

Please be aware of French Government Travel restrictions for Summer 2021. We are located in the Aveyron (Midi-Pyrennees) near some of the most beautiful villages in France. The gite is fully-equipped and recently modernized. The gite has a bedroom loft with queen-sized bed, Large living room, fully-equipped kitchen, and a shower with full bathroom. The gite has not TV channels. We do have WIFI and a large screen with DVD (Zone 1& 2) available. We have a large lending library of American and English movies. The property has nearby the gite a 10 x 5 meter pool with security fencing and a nearby garden with paths.

Some of the most beautiful French villages such as Cordes-sur-Ciel, Najac, Rieuxperoux, Conques, Villefranche de Rouergue, Sarlat, etc. are nearby. During the Summer there are many activities and places to visit including the fabrication of Blue Cheese (Rocquefort), goats cheese, etc. Owner available to recommend sites to visit

One of the best Gites we have stayed in. Very well equipped and comfortable. Set in lovely gardens with different seating areas. The swimming pool was wonderful and clean although a little cool! The hosts Bill and Barbara were great, ready with lots of information about the area, places of interest and local events taking place. A lovely friendly couple. Thanks for a fantastic holiday.

This gite is so cute, has literally everything you would ever need, even beers in the fridge and a little bottle of champagne! Lovely garden areas to sit out and a great BBQ too! The pool looked good but sadly was too cold when we were there to brave getting in! Hosts very helpful and friendy. Local supermarket not far down the road and loads of stunning scenery and places to visit in the area. Would definitely recommend 😊😊😊

Everything was Perfect. Only our own Energy was low because of a Long Journey the days before.But the wonderful Garden, the wonderful Hosts, their lovely dog and the pittoresque french countryside made it a Great staying. We will come again and stay longer.

A Perfect Get-away

You could not wish for a warmer and friendlier welcome at a property, your owners and hosts are genuine and so very helpful. The property itself full of charm and character and quirkiness, so well equipped, the best we have experienced to date. The pool is such a bonus in hot weather and the space of the garden offers a tranquil setting. Your hosts are at hand and very willing to help and chat and give you their knowledge of the local area. Not having TV is not an issue as with WiFi you can view anything you want, but to sit in the beautiful surroundings read or just kick back makes for the perfect relaxing holiday away from it all. We were overwhelmed with the platter of local meats and cheese as well as all the other goodies that were waiting us on our arrival. Bill, Barbara Thank you, your kindness, generosity and help in addition to your wonderful property made for a holiday never to forget.

Absolutely the BEST gite in South West France.

This property is in every way PERFECT. You will not find a better vacation rental in the region. It has everything you could possibly need for a "home away from home" but with the added bonus of the most delightful hosts who treat you as family. Nothing has been overlooked in the renovation of this gite. There is also a wonderful pool to cool off in after a long day enjoying this beautiful region of France. Of course, the Gite itself is air conditioned so you stay comfortably cool regardless. The hosts Bill and Barb, are a wealth of information regarding any questions you may have and their main desire is to make you comfortable and relaxed. I was so sad to leave, it was by a huge margin the BEST place we stayed at during our two week stay across France. I promise you, you will be absolutely amazed at the perfection of this rental. And you are going to want to book ahead as this is going to be filling fast!

Nous avons été accueilli par Bill qui a été aux petits soins pour nous, avec des petites intentions pour que le séjour soit parfait, boissons fraîches"les cookies sont excellent" et autres à découvrir, l'environnement top avec une super piscine, nous avons même profité du mini golf qui est à 400 m, nous avons passé une nuit ce qui est trop court, nous comptons bien revenir pour en profiter un peu plus longtemps, nous recommandons vivement.

Merci à Bill et Barbara pour leurs accueil chaleureux, le gîte super cosy plein de charme. La cuisine très bien équipée il y a vraiment tout ce qu'il faut ! Et côté vaisselle aussi 👍!! Très propre et nous avons trouvés à notre arrivée des boissons fraîches à notre disposition ainsi que des confiseries se qui reste super sympa ! L'endroit est magnifique, très calme. La piscine et le jardin sont très bien entretenu. Avec deux terrasses que nous pouvons utiliser c'est le top! Bill et Barbara restent à disposition, et sont à la fois très discret vraiment pas intrusifs du tout. Je trouve ça génial. Nous avons adorés. Nous les remercions encore pour leur accueil et gentillesse. Un court séjour mais qui fut très reposant. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Besser geht's nicht

Der Empfang durch die Gastgeber - hervorragend Einrichtung des Ferienhauses - optimal Danke für das Empfangsessen, eine kalte Platte mit Brot, leckerer Wurst und Käse Der swimming Pool - erstklassig Das Grundstück zum Flanieren - ein Traum Leider herrscht in Frankreich extreme Dürre. Es ist zu befürchten, das viele Pflanzen und Bäume eingehen werden. Wir hatten sehr auf Regen gehofft und wünschen Herrn und Frau Crawford selbigen so schnell es geht. Wir werden dieses Ferienhaus bei Freunden und Nachbarn unbedingt weiterempfehlen. Kämen wir nochmals nach Frankreich, fragten wir hier wieder an. Wir sagen DANKE!!!
