WELCOME TO CROW RIDGE!!
The apartment is a 1 bed/1 bath ADU in the daylight basement of a Mediterranean bungalow in a historic Portland neighborhood with PRIVATE ENTRANCE and PATIO!
The boho-inspired bedroom has a Queen Casper bed. There is also a double bed sofa combo in the living room, so the unit can comfortably host 4 people. The en-suite bathroom has a shower/bath combo, toilet and sink. The kitchenette/dining room has a sink, Keurig coffee maker, French press, 2 burner hot plate, toaster, microwave, and plenty of dishes, glasses, cutlery, kitchen accessories, and starter items. A larger mini-fridge is great for morning coffee and breakfast prep or reheating that amazing dinner you had at one of the many James Beard award winning restaurants around town. The living room has a Smart TV ready for all your media log-ins and HDMI ports if you want to connect external devices. Also a roll-top desk and comfy chair if you need to get some work done.
AROUND TOWN - So many hot spots within an easy 5-15 minute walk:
- Historic Laurelhurst Park with acres of open lawns, walking paths, and water features. - Hollywood District with the iconic Hollywood theater, Hollywood Farmers market, and many restaurants and bars great for a nice evening out or a bar hop.
- North Tabor neighborhood with Mt. Tabor Park, a cinder cone with miles of hiking trails, reservoirs, and views of Portland, and plenty of local eateries and coffee shops.
-Kerns neighborhood: walk 28th between Glisan and Stark for some amazing restaurants and shops, home of famous Ken's Artisan Pizza. Nearby Screen Door and Voodoo Donut are also worth a mention.
- Several grocery & convenience stores, shops and eateries in and around Laurelhurst.
A quick 10 min/ 4 stop MAX ride lands you at the Moda Center and Convention Center, and a few stops further you are on the waterfront and in the center of downtown. Keep going and you end up in Washington Park with full access to the Zoo, Japanese Garden, Rose Garden, and hiking trails. Ride it to the end in Beaverton where more culinary treasures await!
Scooter and e-bike rentals are easily accessible from Crow Ridge, and 2 bike helmets are provided in the unit for safety if desired, hanging on the hallway coat stand. We are located on the corner of a neighborhood bikeway, and you can easily access our many neighborhoods and biking paths to get around town at a slower pace, including the very popular "Waterfront Loop" around downtown along the Willamette River.
Planning a day trip? The coast, Gorge, Mt. Hood, Hood River, and Salem are all within 1.5 hrs! Going to a DUCKS game, Eugene is only 2 hours away.
PARKING
There is plenty of street parking in the neighborhood.
NOISE ISSUES
his is an old home, therefore you will likely hear people and fur baby noises from time to time. That being said, we're not noisy people, we don't have young children, and we're not night-owls.
ALLERGIES
Dogs and cats do live in the upper level, but do not access the unit. There are stand-alone air purifiers on both levels with HEPA filters in addition to the HEPA filter of the main HVAC unit, but if pet allergies are a concern you should probably look elsewhere.!

Check-out instructions
The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Gather used towels
Take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please leave used towels in the bathtub. Please breakdown the non-recycling trash (take-out containers etc) before putting in black bin-it’s only picked up every other week, thanks!
Use black bin under sink for regular trash, use blue bin under sink for cans, and ok to leave them there - we dispose of cans separate from the rest of the blue recycling.
Please dispose of other recycling in the blue bin outside, glass in the yellow bin outside. Please turn off lights. Please return any appliances used back to the storage cupboard under the counter.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

I am a lifelong traveler and frequent user of VRBO. I love feeling at home, while away. Whether it's Vietnam, New York, or Buenos Aires, I'm happy to see new places and learn from the locals.
Why they chose this property
Happy to host travelers from near and far. Need advice, ask away! Want your own space? Come and go as you please. I'm always available to help if needed.
I love living in Laurelhurst, it is a quiet neighborhood in the middle of the eastside Portland action, with the rest of RipCity only a quick MAX ride away. Walking distance to bars, restaurants, the iconic Hollywood Theater. Also Mt. Tabor and Laurelhurst Park, you won't be short of nature options, either.
