About this property

Live the Vermont Life in 1840 Classic Renovated Cape

Classic 1840 farmhouse that has called home for over 40 years. We are offering a nice 2 BR- 2 bath unit on 2 floors much like it might have looked like a century ago. Not real fancy(no granite counter tops) but we think you will like it. There are separate entrances, large covered and private farmers porch, full kitchen, LR with propane fireplace and it's own washer and dryer.

A 60 acres old farm currently home to a dozen free range chickens that provided fresh eggs every morning. There are fields and woods with trails for everything from walking and skiing to snowmobiles and ATVs, Great one acre swimming pond with kayaks and canoes, 15 foot inflatable raft anchored in the middle, and a fire pit with tables and chairs. Soak up some sun or gaze at the stars at night with no light pollution. Fay Brook runs through the fields across the road that will surely cool you off on a hot Summer day. Always something to do or just do nothing. Your call.

Lots of local places of interest too many to list but we would be happy to make some suggestions.
Conveniently located 2 miles from I-89 and about 20 miles from 4 hospitals. Give Vermont life a try.

Two BR/ 2 Bath unit with private entrance via large covered porch. Full Kitchen and spacious LR plus bath and laundry on first floor. Two BRs and bath on second floor. Traditional 1800's decor with wide pine floors, old panel doors and period furnishings but with baseboard and radiant heated floors. Included are heat and hot water, high speed internet and Roku TV, and of course trash removal, lawn care and snow plowing. Experience Vermont Living.

This is a rural Vermont property in a small town- population 1800- with easy access to I-89-exit 2 and within 20 miles of 4 good hospitals. The apt is in the owners house- a renovated 1840 Cape on 60 acres with fields and woods and boasts a beautiful 1 acre swimming pond. Most recent dip was New Years Eve and lasted about 30 seconds. It is now iced over so swimming is a little more challenging today. But Summer is coming! Great country setting with lots of trails for hiking, ATVs, 4WD + snowmobiles.
