About the host
Hosted by Mark Cohen

Hello, my name is Mark. I'm originally from the Midwest but now a California resident. Our desert home is a delight that we visit as often as possible. We also love sharing it with family and friends and visitors from all over the world.
Why they chose this property
The California desert contains so many juxtapositions. Sparse but beautiful. Warm but dry. Full of color, but you just need to know where to look. The area allows one to have space and peace, but there is plenty of nightlife, food, shopping and activities for every taste. Whatever you want or need...it's here!
What makes this property unique
Well, first of all, the Dezert House is a labor of love. We've owned it for 20 years and we spend a lot of time here. My spouse is an architect and has put a lot of personal touches in upgrades over the years. It's special, but very accessible. It's a little bit modern, a little bit contemporary, and a lot of desert charm. We love art and both inside and outside are filled with our collection.
