Calvary Cottage was excellent! Quiet, comfortable, clean with a Great Lake view! The chickens, goats and horses were very friendly as were the dogs. Jessica was a super host who was readily available if you had any questions or concerns. I would most definitely stay here again!
Absolutely amazing!!!! The house is absolutely beautiful. Jessica and her family were so amazing and showed us around their property. It was a wonderful experience. When we have to come back I will be staying here for sure!
Amazing. Absolutely amazing. The farm is warm and inviting and the hosts are top notch. If you are looking for a quiet get away spot, I strongly suggest it. Except - I may already be there, and you'll have to wait!!!
Jessica went above and beyond to welcome us on our short stay. The house was immaculately clean with a down home cozy feeling. The farm fresh eggs and fresh baked bread were made for an amazing breakfast while enjoying the view of the frozen lake and drinking some of the various coffees she had out. I took a long, warm soak in the tub with some of the epsom salts left out with all the other hygiene products that we could have possibly needed. I highly recommend Calvary Cottage if you are going to be in the area. Jessica will make sure your stay is relaxing and stress free.
I really enjoyed my time at the Calvery Cottage. Jessica thought of everything I could possibly have needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. From farm fress eggs and homemade bread right down to the complimentary hygiene products arranged so beautifully in the bathroom. The home was clean and so beautifully decorated with comfortable living quarters. The mattress in the bed was so comfortable as well! There were many amenities I didn’t get to enjoy due to my schedule but i hope to be a repeat guest in the future and enjoy the lake and property more. I would recommend this listing to anyone looking for an out of the way country stay!!

Why they chose this property
Truth be told, my husband and I weren't supposed to even get this property, but through the grace of God we did and now it's time to "do the most good" with it and sharing what we have is just that. We hope all of our guest share the experience of what we have been blessed with.
What makes this property unique
Here at Calvary Cottage, we offer our guests the privacy and tranquility, as well as the best southern hospitality you'll ever receive in your life. Fresh farm eggs daily and homemade bread at your fingertips. Plus, having a lake all to yourselves is quite sweet too.
