Experience the charm of a true Michigan getaway without the long drive “up north.” This refurbished 1955 chalet-style ranch sits on Pontiac Lake and offers the perfect balance of comfort and modern convenience. Whether you’re planning a quick weekend retreat or an extended stay, this cozy two-bedroom, two-bath home has everything you need.

The home comes fully stocked with linens, dishes, cookware, utensils, glassware, and other essentials—just arrive, unpack, and relax. A full laundry setup is also available. Outside security cameras are in place.

With a queen bed in one room and two twin beds in the other, plus a queen air mattress the space is ideal for families or small groups. Home will seat 23 people for larger gatherings.

Start your mornings with coffee and sweeping lake views from the vaulted living room. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light, framing the serene landscape. In winter, curl up by the fireplace after a day of ice fishing, sledding, or exploring nearby trails. Across from state land, the property delivers that authentic “up north” feeling, right here in Oakland County.

The location is unbeatable—you’re just minutes from Pontiac Lake Recreation Area: Hunting Recreation area rules: The Pontiac Lake Recreation Area does allow hunting for specific game such as deer, rabbits, and waterfowl in designated areas. A public beach, shooting range, and nature trails directly across lake. In winter, alpine skiing and snowboarding are a short drive away. Golf courses, shopping, and the Oakland County International Airport are also conveniently nearby.

Loved our stay! This is a beautiful home with a wonderful view! Plenty of seating, comfy and roomy living room with a great fireplace & high ceilings, nice kitchen area and amenities! Was nice having 2 bathrooms, and a laundry room. The bedrooms are nice too, and we were very pleased with all the closet space and hangers! The foosball table was so much fun, and we all enjoyed the hot tub very much! We will definitely be back for another stay!
