Well…the itrip host was very very rude…when I showed up to the resort…it was all under paint construction…the sliding doors did not slide and did not lock while the paint people were jumping on and off balconies…I did not feel secure AT ALL…when telling the itrip host about the resort looking like a war torn third world…she basically blew me off…it was not a place to relax on vacation..the sites of the resort was horrendous ….and guess what…YOUR iTRIP HOST COULD CARE LESS…BILL

As outlined in the rental agreement signed prior to arrival, exterior maintenance and construction at the resort are managed entirely by the HOA and can occur at any time. Unfortunately, we are not notified in advance of specific projects or schedules.
The rental agreement also notes that these types of projects most commonly take place between October 1 and April 1, which falls within the timeframe of your reservation. While we understand that seeing maintenance activity during a stay may not be ideal, this work is outside of our control and not something we are able to stop or modify.
When you contacted our team, we explained the situation and the limitations we have regarding resort-managed maintenance. Our team strives to communicate clearly and professionally with all guests.

Overall the resort was very nice - the condo was very roomy & the kids loved that they had their own space. The bedroom tvs did not work along with a lot of other lights throughout the condo. Other than that we loved our room. As for the pools the kids loved the amount of pool that were there so they didn’t get bored while swimming, but I did not feel comfortable

We do want to note that no concerns about the TVs or lights were ever reported to us during your stay. Had we been contacted, we could have quickly assisted — as we remind guests multiple times before and during their visit. All TVs and lighting have been tested and are fully functional; there were no issues to repair. In many cases, TVs are connected to light switches, which can cause confusion if not switched on.
We’re pleased you enjoyed the condo and pools, and we’re confident that with real-time communication, your experience could have been a 5-star stay.
The location, view, beach and pool area were great! Unfortunately, the unit itself needs some work and investment in amenities. Thread bare sheets, old, flat pillows, carpets that should be cleaned, one slider didn't lock and the other was almost impossible to open and close, very dim lighting in some of the rooms, etc. Many "little" things that alone would have been no big deal but add them all up and it was a bit of a frustrating stay. The company that manages the property asked for feedback and I gave them this same info a few weeks ago but never heard a word back from them.

However, we were surprised to read this review, as no issues were reported during your stay. Our team actively checks in with guests during their visit and provides multiple ways to contact us (text, email, phone) for any concern — big or small — so that we can address it immediately. Unfortunately, we can’t correct what we’re not made aware of until after departure.
We did receive your feedback after checkout and followed up internally to verify each item. The carpets and sliders have since been serviced, and linens are replaced on a regular rotation as outlined in the listing standards.
We always appreciate constructive feedback, but timely communication is what allows us to resolve things quickly and ensure a five-star experience while guests are still enjoying their stay.

Excellent stay
Great condo, very clean, eat check in and check out.
This property is everything it says and more. The breathtaking views of the ocean is simply amazing!! The kitchen is well stocked. Everything is close by and there’s so much to do. The pools are wonderful!! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone.
Property was described perfectly. Well kept and furniture was new. Beds were comfortable! It had everything we needed.

Great Stay
We really enjoyed the condo and resort. The condo was clean and comfortable. We have already booked another trip at the same resort with ITRIP. Check in was easy and convenient. We would highly recommend.
Overall, our experience was excellent. Only down side is Unit is dated and could have been cleaner.

Absolutely love the property. The rooms are up to date, well decorated, great lay outs and clean. Had everything you’d need in the room. The pools & grounds are awesome. Walk to the beach, live music and swim up bar great. Restaurants in the building & on the grounds are awesome. One thing that I noticed, with this managment company you don’t get the hotel cleaning & maid service every day like normal. You have to clean your own room, take out your own trash and don’t get clean towels etc every day and you have to drive off the property to check in & out of your stay.

We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay! Yes, daily maid service is not provided. We are sure to note that in the rental agreement so that guests are aware prior to booking. We provide two sets of towels per occupancy of the unit, and we also provide a washer/dryer if guests need more than that. Guests absolutely do NOT have to clean upon departure (there are only a few things we ask like running the dishwasher before they leave). I’m not sure where that confusion is coming from, as there is a cleaning/linen fee charged, and we’re very clear in all documentation that guests do not clean at departure. Thanks for staying with us!!

Overall nice. Online stated about free tickets but we didn't receive any further information when we checked in.
Also, pest control came to our door - guessing for annual inspection. However, the HOA nor the homeowner informed itrip...we don't open doors for strangers!
However, we understand it wasn't anyone's fault at itrip just communication disconnect from HOA/Home owners.
We did have to clean the patio furniture really well but that's understandable as well.

This was a 2BR suite at North Beach Resort; it is a very nice resort and the condo was clean, comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen- which was good, considering the on-site food options were limited during our stay (off-peak). The pools are numerous and it is right on the beach. Lots to do in the area, too. Check-in and out is off site, just a short drive away.As far as communication: the rental is managed by iTrip and we did communicate with them on several occasions. First, Prior to arriving I had emailed iTrip several times with questions and concerns and it ended up being much faster to just call- they will be responsive, but faster by phone then email. Then while we were there, one of the heavy pieces of wall art fell off the wall randomly, waking us all early one morning. We texted maintenance using the number given to us upon check in- we weren't concerned with getting it re-hung so much as just letting them know what had happened- and maintenance was very quick to respond. I highly recommend, and if my daughters softball team comes back to Myrtle Beach next spring I'll likely try to stay here again.
The property was great, very nice. I understand it's probably harder than i expect to keep pools clean but they were pretty dirty very early on in the day. I even seen them being cleaned so I know they were. Our room only certain outlets worked, some remotes missing, in this day and age everybody uses some type of streaming service we were unable to add apps to the tv to watch something in the evenings due to the tv having a passcode. Not a huge deal but it's nice to relax and watch a little something at bedtime. All in all most definitely would stay again. Only minor glitches for my personal standpoint.

Family Vacation
This being our first big trip since covid started we were impressed with our stay. Everything from check-in to departure was simple and relaxing which made our stay great. The only drawbacks we had were the cleanliness of the room when we got there and the hours of the pool deck area. The room was clean for the most part but you could tell the housekeepers rushed the turnaround. There was still sand on the floor and the bathroom counters didn't get completely wiped off leaving a white film on them. Really not a big deal and none of which is fault of the rental company. The pool hours were a little difficult because we occasionally wanted to go sit in the hot tub after 10 but they would lock the gates. If you wanted to take an evening walk on the beach you had to be prepared to walk all the way around the resort. These are small things on what was a big vacation. Ultimately we will be going back to this resort which is a big statement considering my wife and I swore we would never go back to the Myrtle Beach area. This resort definitely keeps a family friendly environment while allowing adults to have fun too.
Where to start. We received an email saying our place was ready. Arrived at office to be told it’s not- due to it not being inspected after the cleaning crew. So we wait. No biggie. We get to our room and was astonished as to how disgusting it was. I’m talking gross- Pubic hairs in the refrigerator- toothpaste on the bathroom cabinets- dirt and popcorn on and under the couch- dirty dished put away as if clean- carpet was completely nasty-etc etc - I took many pics and videos to support this.called immediately and the “inspector” Came up and told us she wouldn’t even stay here. Called Robby (manager) and told him that we do not feel comfortable staying in this unit due to how incredibly dirty it was. And we wanted a full refund and I was fully prepared to leave. Was told flat out no- he will send someone in to clean again. Next day they did come back- I honestly couldn’t tell the difference. So I cleaned it myself. I can promise you it was cleaner when we left due to me taking time out of My vacation to clean. After spending the large amount to stay there I could expect better service- well im on my way home and realize I’ve left my AirPods in the unit- I tracked them and I know they are there-please get them and I will Email a prepaid shipping label.I was told it’s Saturday and their busiest day- and it’s not their fault we left the AirPods- so I’m out 250 for my airpods now. I will never rent through iTrip again. The management is truly unprofessional and the condo was a huge disappointment.

We are EMPHATIC when we say this review is an absolute fabrication. First off, these renters submitted very minor cleaning touch up issues. To say there was pubic hair in the refrigerator is just absolutely ridiculous (which by the way they NEVER said while they were here). They said the floors needed to be swept better and they sent photos of some crumbs underneath and behind the couch. There was also lint on the oven from the paper towels used to clean it which they also found to be unacceptable. When we sent the cleaning supervisor over, this guest’s wife decided to bully and berate the supervisor the entire time she was there. It was so bad that the supervisor messaged us and said she didn’t feel safe and wanted to leave. Second, that same supervisor would absolutely NEVER say that she wouldn’t stay in one of our rentals as she has a vested interest in them and our guests enjoying their stay, so that statement is an outright lie. Finally, they did leave behind AirPods and reached out to us on our busiest day of the week in the peak season. We told them that we would try to track them down as soon as we were caught up handling our active reservations and guests which is exactly what we did. So we spent OUR time doing that and OUR money to ship them back 3 short days later. In the meantime, these guests have crazily harassed us via emails and phone calls to the point that we have had to get our attorney involved which has never happened in the 6+ years we’ve been in business. And now because we can’t control the USPS and the AirPods they left behind haven’t been delivered to them fast enough, we now have this defamatory review. So we truly mean it when we say to take this review with a grain of salt.

Worst experience in 6 years
We had not planned on going on vacation this year because we built a new house, but I found this room online at a lower price than we have ever paid and I guess that was my first mistake. We have been staying at NBP for years now and this was the worst experience we have ever had. We requested an early check in because I noticed the room was available several days before our stay and I was told to check back on 9/10 and they could let me know if it was possible. I did check and we were given the ok to check in at 1:30. I walk into the iTrip location to check in at 1:26 and the lady was VERY rude and told me I was early and the room was not ready and I could come back in a bit if I wanted. I told her I could wait since I was just a few minutes early. 4 minutes...really? AND you had to be rude about it? We have always dealt with Robbie, who is a breeze to work with, so Robbie if you see this and you are still a part of iTrip you need a staff change. The description of the room said it had been renovated but that must have been some time ago. The carpet was dirty and I am not sure if it was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom next to the vent, which you could tell there had been a leak, but they didn’t bother to cover it up. The shower looked like it had mold in it as well. The washer, where you put the detergent and fabric softener, looked like it had mold in it and also the furniture was a hot mess. The lighting in both bathrooms was off. One side of the master sink has one color of bulb and the other side had a totally different color. The bathroom I felt was a little to dark. New light fixtures that are not covered would be better. We have always been ones to take chairs and umbrellas because we would rather sit on the beach and because of ‘COVID’ we were not allowed to walk across the pool deck with our stuff. That has never been an issue before so that was very aggravating to have to walk all the way around with our arms full of stuff and it hard to breathe because we had our mask on and the little guy at the gate in the mornings was not very friendly, but they would let people walk the hallways and ride the elevator with no mask. The rain for 3 days didn’t help either but no one has control over that. We love this place but I think our next vacation we need to venture to other places. 😢

Hi Laura,
You sent us an email on the day of your arrival asking to check in even earlier than the 1:30 time you were previously given, and we let you know to please note show up any earlier than 1:30 time you were given so that you didn’t have to wait. This is because our office staff is not able to release units until the cleaners mark them as “completed” in the system. When you decided to show up early (even just a few minutes), the unit had not been released yet, which is why the keys could not be given to you. While that may have been frustrating, our team member was simply doing her job.
Regarding the unit itself, we’re sorry you didn’t enjoy it. However, we wish you would have reached out to our maintenance team to report any issues as this is the first we’re hearing that you were not happy (please note that nowhere in the description does it say that it’s been “renovated” so perhaps you got it confused with another listing that you were looking at?). Having said that, I will certainly pass this feedback along to our maintenance team so that they can check and see if there are truly any issues that need attention.
Regarding your other issues with the resort itself (that was just trying to follow Covid protocols) and the weather, it’s disappointing that you chose to negatively impact this condo for things that are truly out of our hands. As evidenced by the other recent reviews, this condo is very popular and well loved.
I really love the Property North Beach Towers, we were in Jasmine. Th staff was very friendlyThe furniture need to be upgraded, the fan in Master BR functioned only on hi speed. Overall we had a wonderful trip, I plan to return.
We had everything we needed for a quick weekend. Kitchen had all we needed for quick breakfast and lunch. Decor and furnishings were nice but couch and mattresses could use an update. We forgot our keys and Mgt was very quick to get us into the room. We appreciated that sooo much. Would definitely rent this unit again as the location can’t be beat.
Another great stay at North Beach Resort! Stayed in Room 1414 which had an awesome view! It was relatively clean but could use a little deep cleaning. Could also use some fresh paint and decor update.
