This beautiful casita is a private haven. Nestled up on the hill above the quaint fishing village of Mal Pais, it is a quiet retreat surrounded by tropical jungle with stunning sea views. Troops of Howler and Capuchin monkeys visit us almost daily and some of the best birdwatching is enjoyed right from the poolside. Enjoy luxury in the jungle.

This recently built property is set on the hillside overlooking the ocean, perfect for sundowners. It is both secluded and private and has one bedroom with a king-size bed, fan and air conditioning.

The lounge has a double sofa bed and the kitchen is equipped with a hob, fridge, and freezer. The property has its own pool, sun loungers, and Weber gas grill. Outside the casita, there are ample shaded areas to relax away from the heat of the sun, plus the patio and lawn area are perfect to sunbathe.

Casita Tranquilo is fully serviced each day.

The casita is part of Casa Brisas del Cabo (see my other listing which offers a main house/lodge and 2 casitas, Casita Brisas Silencio & Casita Brisas Tranquilo) The entire property is situated in a gated community and has a caretaker on site.

Guests will have access to a concierge service (superhosts) that will help to arrange outings and excursions. Guests will be left to enjoy their own privacy unless requests are made.

We have fast fibre optic WiFi and a table can be made available if you need to work.
You will need either a 4 x 4 or an ATV to get around.

We are happy to do laundry for a small charge.

Tranquil Getaway

We stayed a week at this stunning property during part of our honeymoon in Santa Theresa. The views are amazing overlooking the ocean and the communication between us and the property managers were great. It is like a full service concierge and the casita is serviced once a day. To access the property you do need to rent 4x4 or an ATV. We rented an ATV and zipped back and forth between town, surfing and even took the road close by to Cabuya! If you are looking for a relaxing place to watch the sun set and listen to the sounds of nature, this is your place!

Serene Casita with spectacular sunsets

This luxury casita is very well located and accessible in the heart of Malpais. Phil is an extremely graceful host who can attend any needs and knows the area very well. The sunsets were like no other, the presence and sounds of wild life are all over. What a great place to relax and enjoy. Highly recommended.

Special spot!

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful casita for about two weeks and loved every minute! It was such a great location, convenient to the beautiful beaches and delicious restaurants of Santa Teresa and Mal pais. There were actually two new restaurants In Mal pais just down the mountain, super convenient. The home itself was absolutely perfect for us, bright and sunny and very private. We could hear the ocean and the wildlife was great! Sergio, the caretaker was awesome! He always had a smile on his face asking us if everything was ok and if there was anything we needed. He even gave us fresh bananas picked from the property (delicious) and saved a bird we found! The owners happened to be staying in the main house when we were there and were so friendly, giving us ideas of what to see and where to go. We really can’t say enough about this casita and everyone associated with it! You won’t regret staying here!!
