This beautifully designed cabin is tucked away in a quiet section of upper Moonridge, surrounded by towering oaks and pines. With its modern rustic style and unique architecture, it feels like a refined treehouse — complete with multi-level decking that invites you to relax, take in distant mountain views, and enjoy the peaceful seclusion of the forest.

Though it feels worlds away from the hustle of town, you're never far from anything Big Bear has to offer. Whether you're heading to the slopes, the lake, the village, or local dining, you’re just a short 10-minute drive from it all.

For outdoor lovers, there’s a local trailhead just a 15-minute walk up the road at the top of our street — perfect for a peaceful hike without ever getting in the car.

It’s the best of both worlds: tranquil, elevated living with easy access to every seasonal adventure.

You’ll have full access to the entire home and private yard during your stay.

There are just a few areas reserved for owner use and safety: locked cabinets (labeled) in the kitchen near the side door, locked cabinets above the kitchen sink, locked cabinets (labeled) in the second-floor hallway, a private loft with a ladder that is off-limits, a locked closet in the basement bedroom and a storage shed in the upper driveway. We kindly ask that you do not attempt to access these areas during your stay, as doing so will result in immediate cancellation and removal.

Parking is easy and convenient, with space for up to three vehicles across two private driveways. Flat driveway to the front door. No sketchy outdoor staircases. Easy, secure access — even in winter.

The left driveway leads directly to the front door — no steep or awkward outdoor staircases to climb while carrying luggage.
The right driveway provides direct access to the upper level and has just six steps, making it a great option for guests with mobility concerns.

Please note that the City of Big Bear Lake strictly prohibits street parking. All vehicles must be parked in designated driveways at all times.

We designed this space for families like ours — who love time together, but need a little breathing room. Yes, teens can hog the downstairs. No, we won’t judge if you sneak upstairs for wine and quiet time.

**LIVING ROOM**
This inviting living room blends rustic charm with modern comfort. The plush L-shaped Arhaus sofa offers plenty of lounge space for everyone—perfect for movie nights, reading, or an afternoon nap. Enjoy a large-screen smart TV above the easy-to-use, one-button, gas fireplace, immersive Sonos surround sound, and soft blankets for that true movie-night feel. Natural light pours in through large windows (though we also provide battery-operated candles to set the mood), while the open floor plan flows effortlessly into the kitchen and dining area—ideal for relaxing, gathering, or entertaining. Step onto the deck for morning coffee, a barbecue, or a peaceful moment of meditation or yoga among the trees.

**BEDROOMS**
The cabin offers three thoughtfully designed bedrooms, each a restful retreat with high-quality mattresses, Brooklinen sheets, charging outlets (cord required), luggage racks, and plush pillows.

Top floor: King bed among the treetops, smart TV, two nightstands, two plush robes, under bed drawers and a desk for working or journaling
Second level: King SleepNumber bed, “Frame” smart TV, two nightstands, two plush robes, under bed drawers, and a closet with a Pack ’n Play

Please note: The home has several levels, a main spiral staircase, as well as lower level stairs and is not toddler-proofed

Our kitchen blends modern design with thoughtful touches. KitchenAid Stainless steel appliances and granite countertops make cooking both stylish and simple. Start your day with the CAFE coffee maker or SMEG kettle, stocked with premium coffee and tea. Cook with HexClad pots and pans, or bake with the KitchenAid stand mixer. We’ve included cookbooks for inspiration and a wine chiller with a well-equipped bar area featuring cocktail tools and glassware (just bring your ingredients).
The dining area features a beautifully appointed table with four chairs and a cozy bench, comfortably seating 6–7 guests—perfect for shared meals, late-night chats, or a game night using the board games tucked in the coffee table drawers and bookshelf.
Just steps away, two stylish barstools with soft fur cushions offer additional seating at the kitchen counter, creating a casual spot for morning coffee or conversation while cooking. The open layout seamlessly connects the dining area to the kitchen and living room, making it an ideal space for gathering, entertaining, or simply relaxing together.

**POOL TABLE/LOUNGE/RELAXATION SPACE**
This game room and lounge is perfect for play and winding down. Enjoy a full-sized pool table, a fully automated record player with a curated vinyl collection, and cozy chairs for reading your own book or one from our library...or listening to music. The coffee table is great for board games or a night cap, and the custom-lit bookcase adds a warm, ambient touch.
For quiet moments, use the yoga mats and meditation pillows provided in the quiet space beneath the spiral staircase. Whether you're playing, relaxing, or recharging, this space is designed for comfort and connection.

**OUTSIDE SPACE**
Step outside (barefoot if you'd like...we have Trex decking) and enjoy forest views, fresh air, and two private decks designed for relaxation and gathering.
The top deck, located off the living and dining rooms, features a side table with two chairs, a bench with two side tables, a boho hanging chair, a cooler on wheels, and a gas Weber BBQ grill with rotisserie and side burner (no propane needed) for effortless evening cookouts.
The lower deck, just off the game room, includes lounge seating for all guests, an easy-start gas fire pit (no propane needed), a six-person spa under the stars, a patio heater for cooler nights, and a two-person swing—all beautifully lit by Edison string lights.
