The home was very updated with lots of room & a beautiful ocean view. We were situated about 1 hr. so of St. Augustine & the house was literally less than a 4 min walk from 2 restaurants.Unfortunately the pool/spa did not function properly & was too cold, and the elevator stopped working. The home was stocked with useful kitchen items. Clean except the upper living area had upholstered furniture that was in need of cleaning.The check in & rental process was tedious & unexpected. I had to book through VRBO, then download the app Wander which then required me to go through another site to verify my identity, & then I was told I would have to get another app for the virtual access. The concierge of Wander didn't have the same info as VRBO & wanted a specific description which didn't match. You don't get the access until 4pm, which is fine unless their check in process is incorrect. Upon check in I asked for the numeric code for the door lock. Concierge gave me a code for a key box hanging on the door. The key box was already open with no key BUT there was no key hole in the Yale lock to access! I was then given a key code to use but it was wrong. They changed the code remotely & it took a few tries to get it to accept. I then was contacted a few hours later & I was given ANOTHER entry code...which was wrong. Throughout our stay the Wander app kept notifying me, incorrectly, that a door was unlocked. Lovely house, view, & location but tech issues not "smart" at all.
