What a great property by a great host!!! The charming house welcomed my daughter and I for our three nights of quiet relaxation after a week bustling through DC, NYC, & Boston. It was so wonderful being on an island with no cars and so many good people. The ferry really sets the tone for the experience too, amazing!

We loved our stay, and the home made being visitors a breeze. There is a golf cart, access to a pool and several small beaches on the island all close by to one another and at the house there is no shortage of coolers and beach chairs, etc. it made being there with nothing very easy for enjoying the beaches and exploring the island. Just bring any and all food you may want as there is no place to buy stuff on the island except a small store that sells drinks and then the restaurants.

We booked this property nearly one year prior to my nephews wedding on Great Diamond Island. Our family of 5 plus one dog showed up only to discover the property was rented to someone else leaving us no place to stay for my nephew’s wedding and on island, no less! We tried contacting the host and she did not respond! Me had to pay three times the price of the house rental to stay at the Diamond Cove Inn (luckily they were able to accommodate us)!!! Since we were staying at a house, we bought food and groceries which could not be used in a hotel! Overall, definitely ruined what should have been a very happy family occasion.
