There are resorts that could take lessons from these hosts. From the minute you step into the door, you can tell they take your stay very seriously. There was local snacks which were well enjoyed during some spirited card games on the large dining table, a jar of hand and foot warmers which consider the temp last week would have come in very handy if we had forgotten ours, a nice gas stove to cuddle up next to when the lifts are on wind hold, a playstation for when the lifts are on wind hold, fun booked...for when the lifts are on wind hold :)It is just details like an espresso maker, fluffy soft bathroom towels, and even floss picks in the bathroom that you can tell they want you to be comfortable. They also didn't commit the sin of so many other hosts...every mattress is high quality and nice to sleep on with two different types of pillows to make sure you have something that fits your sleep preference. A few things I would bring, a robe and outdoor slippers for the much appreciated hot tub as it is a very short, but sometimes cold and icy walk to the Gazebo and when it is negative digits out, the faster you can get in and out of the better. The only other thing I would consider is a white noise maker as it is a cabin and there isn't much soundproofing between the walls or floors, so if you are in a group that has different sleep schedules, this will help.I did leave behind a pair of race skis, and the hosts were right on top of it going the extra mile(s) to help.
