McCall Cabin near Beach / Lake, Community Dock, Ponderosa Park & Golf - Spacious

Our cabin is in a great location and in a beautiful forested setting, with a very short walk to the lake and community dock. Just 5 houses from the water, we are perfectly situated on a quiet street that dead-ends at the beach, which makes our place especially appealing for families who want their kids to be able to run back and forth to the beach.

Freshly carpeted and painted throughout, our home is warm and well-appointed. The open floor plan connects the living room, dining room and kitchen and is great for large families or groups of friends. The charming gas fireplace provides cozy ambiance at the flip of a switch.

There is one bedroom on the main floor with a single bed, located just off the dining room. The other three bedrooms are located upstairs. Two have comfortable queen beds, across the hall from one another. Both bedrooms have access to a wide balcony that faces Ponderosa State Park. Our spacious master bedroom has a king sized bed, a large walk-in closet and a private covered deck with outdoor seating.

There are 2 fully equipped bathrooms with tubs and showers; one on each floor.

Our cabin sleeps 7.

* Please note our cabin is rented by the week during summer (Sun - Sun).

We offer plenty of off-street parking for your cars and toys. We have space for parking up to 4 cars.

Our deep driveway is best suited for seasons without snow, as it slides off our roof to the driveway in winter.

It will be cleared when you arrive if 4 inches of snow or more has accumulated. We provide several snow shovels for guest use. If you wish to have additional snow removal services vs. shoveling the driveway during your stay the cost is $50 each additional clearing and will be deducted for your deposit.

The kitchen is fully stocked with our guests’ cooking needs in mind. Complete with all amenities, we provide a microwave, blender, crockpot and 2 coffee makers! (One has a built-in grinder.) We have plenty of kid-friendly dishes.

Our family-style dining table seats 6 comfortably and 3 can sit at the kitchen bar.

The living room has a 47” flat panel screen smart TV with internet access. We also have a game console which includes the original Pacman, plus numerous others. Guests can enjoy unlimited play - no coins needed! Board games? We have lots, including Monopoly, Parcheesi, Scrabble, Sorry, puzzles, checkers and Twister!

We provide a washing machine and dryer for your use.

Our private backyard is fully fenced for little ones and is great for BBQing and roasting s’mores under the stars. We have built-in deck seating, as well as a heavier iron patio set for 4 for outdoor summer meals.

Ponderosa State Park – 1500 acres of pristine trails, boat launch ramp (2 blocks away): biking, hiking, swimming, boating, fishing, cross country skiing in winter.

McCall Municipal Golf Course, Aspen #6 green ( across the street): public golfing, cross country skiing in winter, Fox hill (our family name for it) ~ offers epic sledding in a community atmosphere.

Activity Barn (4.7 miles): snow tubing.

Payette River / North beach, Payette Lake (9 miles away): a more secluded lake for canoeing, kayaking, fishing, paddleboarding.

Brundage Mountain Ski Resort (10.9 miles away): downhill skiing, snowboarding and cross country skiing. In summer, you can rent mountain bikes or bring your own and take them up the ski lifts and ride down the mountain!

Jug Mountain Ranch (11 miles away): epic golfing and noteworthy mountain bike trails. Excellent dinner with amazing sunset views.

Tamarack Ski Resort (21.6 miles away ): downhill skiing, snowboarding, and cross country skiing.

Gold Fork Hot Springs (23.5 miles away): especially fun to visit in the winter, surrounded by rocks into the pool, steam in the air and under the stars.

Burgdorf Hot Springs (32.2 miles away): snowmobile access in winter, a beautiful drive to epic hot pools.

Ride the FREE bus around town ~ super quaint trolley comes right to our corner, especially fun for kids!

Cross country skiing and sledding at Ponderosa State Park or on the Golf course, both a 5-10 minute walk from the cabin.

Downhill skiing and snowboarding, just 16 miles away, at Brundage Mountain Resort.

Inner tubing at the hills of Activity Barn.

Ice skating at a beautiful facility in town, Manchester Ice and Event Centre.

Downhill skiing and snowboarding at Tamarack Resort, a 30-minute drive away.

Take a snowy evening walk to town to one of the local breweries, just 10 minutes away.

Gold Fork Hot Springs is a fun destination, accessible by car.

Swimming, diving, boating, fishing, water skiing, jet skiing and canoeing at Payette Lake, just 5 houses down.

Biking, hiking, fishing and picking huckleberries at beautiful Ponderosa State Park, whose entrance is just 2 blocks away. As a peninsula, it’s surrounded on three sides by the lake.

Little Payette Lake is nearby, and much less crowded and lots of fun to explore.
