We are sorry to hear your stay did not meet your expectations, however we do want to respectfully address a few points. Moon Tide's oceanfront location near the grocery store and Coots Bar & Grill is clearly outlined in our marketing, so we hope future guests will review that information carefully to ensure it is the right fit. All of our properties are on quarterly pest control programs, and this home is no exception. Edisto Island is a natural coastal environment and palmetto bugs are indigenous to the area - they occasionally make their way indoors, which is simply part of coastal living. This home is cleaned by a crew that has been with our company for 25 years and is inspected after every turnover. The owners were at the property just 10 days prior to your arrival, and the guests who stayed immediately before you left glowing comments about its cleanliness and condition. We also want to note that our office was never contacted during your stay, which did not give us the opportunity to address any concerns in real time - we are always just a phone call away and would have been happy to help.
