Fell well below expectations. We scheduled a last-minute trip up the mountains and, for 350 a night, expected a bit more.All the outdoor furniture was broken or close to it — the seats were worn through, with a pad thrown on top to hide it, and the plastic straps underneath having disintegrated except for one or two, so you were essentially sitting on nothing. The numerous pillows on the beds were so old they offered zero support. The house is incredibly cluttered — there's no counter space to set anything down, and knickknacks are everywhere. The beautiful outdoor lights worked for one night and never turned back on. If the weather turns bad, there aren't many comfortable places to sit inside. And if you're over 5'5", watch your head — there's a low-hanging ceiling you're bound to hit.The cabin is clearly pet-friendly, with dog treats and toys scattered throughout. If you're traveling with dogs, this could be a good fit for you — just be prepared to lower your expectations when it comes to quality/comfort.This may be some people's cup of tea, but for us and our kids, it was less a relaxing weekend away and more "make the best of it."On top of everything, we followed VRBO's checkout list, but after we'd already left the property, we received a separate email with completely different checkout instructions.For the price, there are far better options out there.
