Welcome to Wild Turkey Run Lodge — A Secluded Log Cabin Retreat
Escape to a secluded 3.3-acre forested retreat nestled within the private, gated Gateway Mountain community. This rustic-yet-modern log cabin offers 3 bedrooms, a loft, 3 bathrooms, and a basement game room across ~2,002 sq ft — ideal for families, friends, or couples craving peaceful immersion in nature.
Parking & Access
The estate’s paved roads are well maintained but do include moderate inclines and declines. In rain or clear weather, 2WD vehicles will have no issues accessing the property. During winter snow, however, AWD or 4WD is strongly recommended for safe travel.
The road leading directly to the home is mostly level and has been recently graveled, making for smooth access in all non-winter months. The level gravel driveway provides parking for up to six vehicles.
From the driveway, simply walk up a short flight of steps to the welcoming front porch, where ceiling fans, rocking chairs, and a porch swing set the tone for your stay. Guests will receive a gate key fob and home entry code before arrival. A backup key box is also available in case technology fails.
Main Level – Bright & Welcoming
Step inside to vaulted ceilings, expansive windows, and a spacious open floor plan connecting the living room, dining area, and kitchen.
Living Room:
Two comfy sofas and a reclining chair are arranged around the large Smart TV (with Firestick, bring your own logins). Below the TV is a generous collection of board games. One of the sofas doubles as a queen-sized sleeper sofa for flexible sleeping. Central HVAC ensures year-round comfort, with a small gas heater for added warmth in cooler months.
Dining Area:
A wooden table for four sits between the living room and kitchen — perfect for meals, puzzles, or a card game.
Kitchen:
Fully stocked with everything you need to cook and enjoy meals together. Includes a full-size refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, drip coffee maker (with ground coffee and filters provided), air fryer, quality cookware, bakeware, dinnerware, and utensils.
Back Porch:
Just off the living room, the covered back porch is a guest favorite — furnished with ceiling fans, rocking chairs, and a swing, plus a dining table for four. String lights wrap the ceiling, creating a cozy glow at night. Enjoy a tree-line sanctuary in summer and wide mountain views in winter.
