Escape to our clean and comfortable lakefront cottage, located just 30 minutes north of Sturgeon Falls on a year-round access road. Set on a spacious and private 1.5-acre lot, this peaceful west-facing retreat offers breathtaking sunset views over a quiet bay — ideal for families or two groups of up to four guests each.

Enjoy direct waterfront access with a sandy-bottom shoreline that's perfect for swimming, wading, and fishing. Kids will love catching fish right off the dock, and the calm, shallow water is safe for little ones to enjoy. A large dock with a sitting area accommodates boats up to 20 feet long, and the expansive yard offers plenty of space for children to play freely.

Gorgeous rustic cottage

Was so lovely, as the place was much bigger than expected, had cute rustic charm, very clean and lots of little extras that made it feel so welcome. Its a bit far from shops, so bring all that so need, so you dont have to leave. Was so great to take advantage of the lake with the boats provided and even caight a few fish! Thanks!

Just what we needed

Spent a week at Johnny's cottage with my family, one of our best vacations so far. The cottage was immaculate and bigger than we expected. The rustic charm was beyond compare, exactly what we were looking for. Pictures don't do this cottage justice, description and amenities were exactly as stated. It's a beautiful lake, we fished off the dock, watched the sunset from the kayaks, swam all day, enjoyed smores at the fire pit and there's a lot of nice flat ground for cornhole/catch/soccer etc. If you want a true cottage experience and a place to get some quality (no screens) time with your family/friends, check this out. 10/10 we will be back

Relaxing getaway - thanks!

We really enjoyed our stay! Jonny is an easy host to communicate with and made sure we had all the information we needed. The listing and photos were representative of the cottage and property - though both indoors and out is more spacious than they appear. The dock area is a great place to soak up some sun in the afternoon and the kids enjoyed the boats and lily pad. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had all we needed and there were good board game and dvd collections in case of rainy days. Nice mix of sun and shade options outside. We had room to play badminton and volleyball on the front yard (non lake side). The gradual entry to the water was great for kayaks (provided) and the sups and canoe we brought. Also great for the dog and would be great for anyone with young kids. Our kids (10/12) had lots of fun but wished the water was deeper off the dock. Still, we wouldn’t hesitate to return and would highly recommend the property for those with young kids, seniors, and absolutely anyone who would enjoy fishing on the big, beautiful Lake Tomiko. This is a great spot for kids, parents and grandparents to relax and play together. Adventurers - we had a great canoe/SUP adventure up the nearby Tomiko river. So beautiful! A few easy lift-overs, most of which we paddled on the way downstream. We made it to the foot of a series of rapids that would make a great picnic spot (leave no trace!) Saw MANY beavers, two huge snapping turtles, and some deer and wolf tracks.

Enjoyed our stay. We went for fishing, boat dock was great to have at the end of a short walkway. Cottage is very rustic, no heat but otherwise comfortable with a box stove. The door of the stove is cracked and therefore burnt wood faster. If it’s chilly you have to get up in the middle of the night to stoke the fire. All amenities were in working condition. Jonny was great host, there had been a mix up and we didn’t take certain things that we should have, Jonny made sure we had what we needed before we arrived. Thank you very much! We never met Jonny however he was always “Jonny on the spot” when we had questions.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lake front cottage with our children and dog!! Upon arrival we were given a code to enter the cottage that was very clean with absolutely everything you need for your stay! Nice shallow sandy beach was great for the kids and dog!! We would definitely stay again!!

Fantastic Lakefront Cottage
