Villaggio Nongprateep was established in 2010 by 'Air' Mr.Chanrat Karatna. 'Air' was formerly a tour guide for a leading inbound travel company from 1982 to 1992, not by choice but chance while he was attending university. Upon graduation he took on a number of occupations on a part-time basis and ran Air's Bistro (1996-2003). In 1999 he decided to attend the graduate program at Chiang Mai University in a Tourism Industry Management which required him to take up work in the field of tourism again. In 2004 his Thai Cooking Class : Air's Thai Culinary Kitchen was opened. His former experience in tourism inspired him to help visitors learn Thai cooking as an alternative touring experience. Tourists could learn how to cook their favorite delicious Thai foods when they returned to their own countries.

Villaggio Nongprateep is on the family's land surrounding with mom's house and sisters. The land belong to the generation and very long time ago. We are 'Green and Clean Place' with trees and variety of plants surrounding our place. We provide 3 rooms 3 designs, 2 bed rooms (Twin, Queen size) and 1 double bed room (King size). Each room is 24 sq.m.

The building use the old wood from my grandmother to decorate and purpose built. All clients will get a truly unique Thai experience when they stay at Villaggio Nongprateep by 'Air'.
