My dad originally purchased the home in the 1990;s, he was an avid fisherman, scuba diver, and businessman. He created his own startup Ocean Ray Wet Suits where I worked as a teenager. The suits were advertised in the monthly publication Skin Diver Magazine, shipped worldwide and used by the US Navy. The neoprene suits were designed, sewn & glued and manufactured in Bay Shore, New York. The business was a success which allowed my dad to purchase his dream home in Big Pine Key on the canal. My dad passed early at the age of 61, me (his daughter) now owns the home and frequently stays at the property with my now 13 year old son enjoying all that the keys has to offer !
