The outside was gorgeous and having the pier for yourself was peaceful and wonderful. The weather was also perfect. It is great for a couple and a dog. The host was very helpful and very nice. It is about 20 mn from St Michael which is an adorable little town with great restaurants!

The property is amazing! There were mature flowering trees that wowed us, a pier positioned to catch the warm breezes at sunset, and a huge lawn to explore. The place is very peaceful and private - we loved the outdoor shower! It was just the getaway we needed.

Physical location is good for quiet away from city life but home needs updating to include tv so that one can cast or screen mirror from their device. Also picture setting for size was impossible to correct. Appliances are very old; bed not confortable for 2 people; ants in kichen…air a/c vents not efficient/old - bought a pour over coffee pot to have fresh tasting coffee - too far from town to grab a coffee & return. Host very nice but place seriously need updating.

The property was amazing. Very well kept and beautiful.love being right on the water. The house was very charming. There are some things that need some attention but overall you're really paying for the property and the views and the privacy. The host was very helpful and replied to every need and she also give us the combination to the shed and let us use the bicycles to ride while we were there. Also when we arrived it was a tree across the road and she took care of our inconvenience and had it removed .Will definitely go back.

Lovely large yard - great for my dogs. The house is comfortable and cozy and the screen porch is a lovely spot to spend an afternoon reading.

October Trip

Lovely fall visit

Enjoyed our stay at this quiet home on the water. Saw a nice variety of local birds, including an eagle from the dock, and a nearby flock of turkeys. House was very comfortable, bright, and roomy.

A glorious place of respite

This is a gorgeous, serene spot, and the home is warm and welcoming (as is the owner). The kitchen is well equipped and the living space is super-comfy. Plus it is very close to St. Michaels, where great restaurants and fun shops beckon. We loved it!

Why they chose this property

Living in the city has its perks, but there is something about frequenting a getaway that calms the soul. My husband and I chose to buy this property because our hectic lives needed some slowing down without distractions. We love The Lodge at Leadenham Cove because we have solidified our relationships with friends and family by having them join us in a wholesome and soothing environment.

What makes this property unique

My favorite part of staying at the cove is sitting in the Adirondack chairs with friends for hours catching up, and genuinely enjoying each others company. The Catalpa, Magnolia, and Pine trees give the space a unique park-like setting, that never grows tired. At night, I love to serve dinner to my guests on the deck below a Maple tree decorated with hanging lamps that my daughter refers to as The Great Hall from Harry Potter.
