No it did not over look beach there was a side view and there was a sonic next door and the sign was on all night long, your attention was always on the sign she needs up dated pics, the seawall was all pay and there is nothing that says that and pic doesn’t reflect that, it was very clean, but there was very tiny black ants not visible all the time, walker was ok in all parts of condo but it didn’t fit in the bathroom door the only one to small, I didn’t take any pics

Nice condo

The condo itself was perfect for our five day stay in Galveston. Comfortable and stocked with everything we might need! The condo is small but really well laid out and perfect for just the two of us. Communication with the owner was very easy and positive. Proximity to the beach and all that Galveston has to offer was great. Our only complaint was that both the elevator and the pool closest to our condo were out of service most of our stay. Lugging our suitcases and groceries up three flights of stairs was difficult. Thankfully by checkout the elevator had been repaired! The grounds were also not well kept up. If I were paying the HOA I would be complaining about the upkeep. We enjoyed staying here and would recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay. The kids pool was perfect for our toddler. The close proximity of Walmart was also nice for those things we needed for the toddler.

Great place!

Great location right off the beach. Clean and had everything we needed including beach chairs. Pools and hot tubs were loved by adults and kids. Really enjoyed sitting on the porch and listening to the ocean and watching a really amazing thunderstorm last night!

Great location and awesome host

This was our first VRBO experience and we couldn't be happier. The location was perfect, right across the street from the beach with every amenity close. The place was very clean and stocked with anything we needed. The host has clearly thought of everything, and her communication was amazing. We'd highly recommend the stay!

We had a wonderful stay. Perfect size for a small party of 3 adults. We were close to the beach and simple shopping. Clean in areas you could see but when checking to make sure we didn't leave anything behind came across othere people's stuff left behind

Comfy condo

Good location. Owner was quick to respond to a couple of issues. Broken umbrella was replaced, and broken toilet was fixed the next day. Very comfortable bed.

Cute and close to the ocean

The condo was cute. Right across the street from the ocean and shopping. The bed was very comfortable. Check in was pretty easy. I would say the whole complex could use a good deep clean and some touch up paint. The amenities are nice.

Read all small print

This property was listed as a 2 bedroom with a queen and a twin. The twin was in the hallway (not a bedroom) The floors were sticky and dirty, ceiling fans needed cleaning. The parking was outrageous. Not 35 but 110 there is a charge for anything with wheels. Truck trailer and bikes. Will not stay at this property again.

Bustling Beachview

Overall our stay was fine. Things of note though are that this unit (& likely others in the complex) was never quiet, and many of the common areas are dated and not well kept (tennis courts, picnic areas, fitness center, elevators). There was also a LOT of hallway noise even overnight especially as the bed is along the adjacent wall. While not the owner's fault this included many late night people, dogs, multiple car alarms, and the adjacent road traffic. In addition, I think it would be more transparent to communicate that these units are quite dated and very small, even for 2 people. We were not able to be in the kitchen or bathroom at the same time. Also of note, two minor inconveniences: the coffee pot is only a 5 cup (2 cups of coffee) & has no warmer plate so coffee gets cold quickly, and the outdoor table is very rusty (I ended up with rust on a pair of pants from sitting there). Not a poor stay but not somewhere we would stay again or even recommend to others.

Nice touches to this unit, perfect for 2 teens with us

I knew the unit would be small, but I booked because it had 3 tvs and 3 separate places for us to all sleep. My bf and I in the small bedroom on queen bed, one teen in the hallway twin bed, and one on the couch. Not a single fight from the kids about space! Everything was clean inside and the sheets smelled fresh. The building itself is old and dingy with lots of deferred maintenance, which didnt bother me for the price. The elevator was sketchy and having to go up 3 flights of stairs was kind of difficult with luggage. The beach was not what I had hoped for, but the chairs and towels provided by the condo owner was helpful and much appreciated! Just a note to the owner, the towel rack in the bathroom fell off the wall and seemed to have been put back up several times, may need to move it to a different place. Also, the water faucet in kitchen sprayed water all over the back wall and the stove when it was turned (we didnt cook, but only used it to wash a utensil one or two times). I think it was also leaking from the back side of the faucet. Thanks for renting to us. All was as expected and we had no problems.

Very nice place and had a great view of the ocean. This would be 5 stars if the condo was outside of Galveston. Been to many beach towns before and this area and beach was not very well kept. So the accommodations are great but the town just isnt my cup of tea.

Because that. I bought an apartment in Playa del Carmen (Riviera Maya-Mexico) and now in Galveston. As I can not use them all the time, I share them as vacation rental property.

Why they chose this property

Galveston is the closest beach to Houston. I really love seeing the water. When I lived in the city where I was born, my apartment has a wonderful view of the lake. In Rio de Janeiro I lived facing the ocean. Now in Galveston, I can finally wake up and see the Gulf.
