The open kitchen/family/living room is dramatic yet comfortable, and features unobstructed views of the water, dock, and courtyard.
Enter the house through a private courtyard garden, with lush plantings and modern sculpture – a great place to enjoy the breeze and relax when the sun is high over the bay. Also, a private outdoor shower can be accessed from the courtyard for an “after beach” rinse. Did we mention you are just 6 houses from the beach?
Open the front door to find an open-plan modern space with vaulted ceiling, white oak hardwood floors, a beautifully appointed kitchen with eat-in island and dining/living areas with bay views and that open out to the brand new glass-paneled deck. You are ON the water. Did we mention the upper deck is gated for kid safety?
The first floor includes a master bedroom with sliding door to bayside deck, king bed, 2 large closets, HD TV / DVD player and full bath. The water views continue in three bedrooms on the 2nd level: a second master bedroom with queen bed, full bath, and 2 additional bedrooms with double twin beds and their own HD TV’s and DVD players. One twin BR is outfitted with a 42-inch HD TV, perfect for use with your Wii or video game set-up in this “kids’ TV room.” The home is Wi-Fi enabled, so bring your laptop – and e-mail your friends pictures or stay unplugged!
Outside, a brand new bi-level deck and private dock, perfect for fishing, crabbing or just sitting and watching the orange/red sunset dissolve into the bay. Did we also mention: An outdoor built-in gas grill for family barbecue? Or the Marina just 3 doors away if you would like to take sailing lessons or rent a boat? You are one block from tennis and basketball courts, waterfront walking trail and tot friendly playground all found at Sunset Park?

Best stay on LBI ever

Kitchen was very complete and we like to cook so that served us nicely. The location, sunset, deck made us never want to leave the house. The beach is just a block away. Peter is so kind and communicative. Even a little herb garden in the back. We hope you'll have us back.

Beautiful cove

My husband, daughter and grandsons all enjoyed this beautiful location on the cove. Short block to the beach but we actually stayed on the back deck most of our stay. Floated on tubes by day, dinner and watching the magnificent sunsets at night. Adorable courtyard in front to enjoy our morning coffee. Plenty of room in the house with wonderful views from all. Impressed by the lush gardens that surround the location. Peter was a pleasure to deal with and always there for any questions. Would recommend for any family.

We Absolutely Loved This House!

This is a wonderful house! Sitting right on the bay with beautiful decks and a dock gave us amazing outdoor space to enjoy our morning coffee, afternoon glass of wine, a lovely bay swim or paddle board, etc. It is also so beautifully landscaped and had a vegetable/herb garden that had tomatoes and herbs for us to pick! Close to the beach - literally a 2 minute walk! The house itself is clean, charming and comfortable and has everything you might need in terms of kitchen appliances and cooking utensils, a drawer of board games, lots of beach chairs and was well stocked with things like toilet paper, garbage bags, washing detergent and other basic items. Really comfortable beds too! Peter is an extremely helpful and communicative host and was willing to do everything he could to make our stay easy and enjoyable. The house is clearly well loved by his family and has such a nice feel to it. It felt like home to our family immediately. Thanks Peter for a wonderful week!

Great host, house and view

Peter was a gem as a host He was great to deal with and the house had everthing we needed. We slept great here. The location is on the water and a quick walk to the beach. Also there is a park and redreation area a block away. Would definately go back.

The perfect beach vacation

I cannot recommend this house enough! This house and the owners exceeded all expectations. They were organized, quick to respond to any questions and clearly care about their renters' experience. We brought towels and sheets, but they have thought of everything else! The house is right on the bay and made for easy access to the water and beautiful sunsets, but only a block from the beach! The house also has some great amenities, we rode bikes, went kayaking, took our son to the nearby park and had an absolute blast. I have never written an online review, but this experience was truly worthy of one. Thank you!
