We rented this property to enjoy the dark skies and it did not disappoint. My son and I enjoyed two nights of excellent stargazing and telescope viewing. Beds were comfortable and the unit had everything was as advertised. Communication was excellent.

The property was not as depicted in the pics. Yard was overgrown to the point it was hazardous. The so called river was no where within 100 yds as claimed & was nothing but a stagnent pond. Lawn chairs were thrown upside down. It was so bad I didnt even stay but took a loss. Next to the property was an abandoned gas station which appeared condemned. I walked half way to the so called river & the grass was higher than my head. I would highly recommend you pass on this dump. I filed a complaint & the owner refused to reimburse me. I not only lost the rent money i lost the gas money to drive 2 hrs to this dump. She ruined my Memorial Day Weekend thinking I could trust the owner who used deception to get a buck.

I’m a Texas native who enjoys the outdoors, spending time with family, and sharing the beauty of the Hill Country with others. I take pride in providing a clean, comfortable place where guests can relax, enjoy the river, and make lasting memories. Hosting gives me the opportunity to help people experience the peaceful country lifestyle and everything this special area has to offer.

Why they chose this property

I chose this area because of its peaceful setting, natural beauty, and direct access to the North Llano River. It offers a true taste of Texas Hill Country, with wide-open spaces, abundant wildlife, and some of the best stargazing around. What I enjoy most is the quiet atmosphere and the opportunity to unplug, whether that means spending time by the river, watching birds and deer, or simply enjoying the scenery. It’s a place where guests can slow down, relax, and experience country living at its best.

What makes this property unique

Our property offers a genuine Texas country experience with private access to the North Llano River and plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors. Unlike crowded vacation destinations, guests can relax in a peaceful setting surrounded by nature, wildlife, and open skies. The combination of a cozy, renovated cabin, river activities, outdoor gathering spaces, and beautiful Hill Country scenery makes it a special place to disconnect from the hustle of everyday life and enjoy quality time with family and friends.
