THE LOCATION...

The Beachside neighborhood of Key West is a quiet, mostly residential neighborhood on the southern side of the island. Just a couple blocks from the west end of Smathers Beach off Atlantic Blvd, and just down the street from Higgs Beach, BIRD of PARADISE is a dream for beach-lovers who prefer to pack their coolers and towels and walk the few steps down to the sand and water. Watch the sunset from Smathers Beach or the White Street Pier just around the corner. Take the short stroll to Salute! for a beachside meal, or bike ride down to Duval Street or the Historic Seaport for the most popular Key West attractions.

THE KITCHEN and LIVING AREA...

Upon entering through the front door (which is actually located on the side of the house), you'll find yourself in the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has top of the line stainless steel appliances and all of the tools and equipment you will need to prepare a gourmet meal. The kitchen island serves as your dining area, with space for four. The kitchen opens up to the spacious living room, offering plenty of comfortable seating options and a large flat screen TV.

THE POOL and BACKYARD...

Just beyond the three sets of large French doors in the living room is the fully fenced backyard and pool area. For those familiar with Key West, private pools can often be comparable in size to a large bathtub, with minimal sunshine depending on the time of day or landscaping of the yard. This home breaks that mold - with a pool that spans almost the entire length of the house and landscaping designed to maximize sunshine in and around the pool area. When you've had enough fun in the sun, retire to the shaded lounge area for a drink... or 5!
