About this property
Holberry House, the sweet music of peace
Holberry House is a unique guesthouse experience. It is situated atop a wooded hill on four acres of landscaped gardens and parkland in the town centre of Nannup. Guests have the peace and beauty of a country retreat, whilst being able to stroll in to the heart of this historic town. Though it was built in the late 1980s, with all the modern comforts, Holberry House was inspired by the classic, two-storey English manor. Its seven very comfortable rooms are decorated in romantic country style, enhanced by antiques and collectibles from the owners’ travels. It is truly unique Nannup accommodation. All rooms have television. One room is equipped with a spa. Downstairs is the guest lounge areas, dining room and conservatory. These rooms open onto the wide verandahs with comfortable sitting areas. This is a great place to watch the birds eating from the bird feeders and frollicking in the water fountain. The guest lounge area features leather chesterfield couches and an open log fire. In winter this is a great spot to relax with a book and a glass of red wine. There is a pool for summer relaxing and many seating areas in the gardens, which feature sculpture works by WA artists. The Blackwood river is a short stroll from Holberry House and there are a good selection of walk and cycle trails that are networked from the town centre.

Holberry House is in such a tranquil setting. The gardens are beautiful and contain local art works. You could spend much time just wandering the gardens. The room we had was immaculate and very comfortable. Downstairs we enjoyed the comfort of the living areas which had many personal touches - books, games, local history, photos... Holberry House is walking distance to the main street, the brewery and the pub. A great stay.
Comfortable, relaxing and peaceful. The gardens are beautiful. So nice to be able to sit in front of a fire. Walking distance to any where in town. There is a lovely walk along the river. Very obliging hosts and we will look forward to our next stay.
A rare treasure back in the times when everything was great
Holberry House is a treat for the modern-day people, This property takes you back to 18 century in the feel and the breakfast settings and servings. The open fire in the beautiful lounge in the evenings was truly amazing. The sunroom is so beautifully set up, and everything else on the property. We thoroughly enjoyed the two-night stay and would recommend this property to anybody who likes the fine things and the beautiful history that this country has. Louise has a wonderful job in managing and taking care of the guests. We truly appreciated it. We would love to go back again. Thank you Holberry House for the wonderful experience.
First time bb all aspects were great
We enjoyed the ability to converse with other people in the community room
only negative was that it did not have aircon for the very hot humid day and the one they had was evaporated
Stunning property and grounds, and our room was delightful. Louise, our host, was amazing, nothing was to much trouble. Breakfast was superb. A beautiful walk by the river quickly leads you to the town and the brewery.
Holberry House is the perfect spot for some peace and tranquility.
Beautiful old english style home in extensive english garden.
We had a good night stopping here and thoroughly enjoyed the accommodation as well as the proximity to Nannup township.
