The Cottage was absolutely perfect. A wonderfully comfortable stay with snacks, comfy bed and a host that couldn’t have been more accommodating! Highly recommend for a quiet , comfortable stay

Really cute place The Bed was so comfortable I wanted to load it up and take it back to Oklahoma The shower was really nice We came from Oklahoma to visit the Ark and this place was close enough to accommodate that We loved the green grass Wish we could have move the house and relocate it on our land.
Bo enjoyed the Green Grass
Small but very roomy and clean recently remodeled.
Nice views it was cold so horses must have been in stables

Had a great stay at in the cottage at Merimac Farms. Our hostess was very responsive with our needs and requests. Her farm is breathtaking! We were able to pet all the horses that would make friends with me and my sisters. We were blessed to have our host take us to see the foals and feed the Mama's apples. My two sisters and I all agreed that getting up close and feeding the horses was the highlight of our family vacay. The cottage is very peaceful!

Great communication with the host! Perfect location. Listing was as described. Such a quaint, kept up little farm house with beautiful furnishings. Very clean. Beds were super comfy. We appreciated the host having coffee, cream, water, and some other soft drinks & snacks. Mary went above and beyond by mailing an item we had left behind. We will stay again!

The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Nicely decorated and in good condition. Everything was clean. .The kitchen was stocked with coffee , tea, sweeteners, and some , snacks, fresh fruit and drinks. There were even treats for our dog. The bathroom was very clean and appeared to have been newly renovated. It had everything we needed as well, with shampoo, conditioner, soap, and a hair dryer also, plenty of nice towels. The setting is beautiful and we enjoyed looking out at the horses. The location is convenient, just a short drive into Georgetown for anything we needed. The road can be a little noisy, and there is a train nearby, but this was not a big deal. Mary is the epitome of a wonderful host. She made us feel welcomed and wanted to make sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. She offered to give us a tour of the farm, which ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. I would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to feel like they stayed in true Lexington horse country, in a very comfortable, clean cottage with a great host.

Clean, comfortable, and convenient. The house was absolutely perfect for our needs, everything was comfortable and so very clean. We enjoyed the rocking chairs on the front porch in the evening. The beds are really comfortable, with choices of hard and soft pillows. Everything we could have needed was readily available on the property. We would absolutely go back!
