The hot tub was amazing! I was looking for a place with a hot tub and close enough to downtown to easily get to activities in New Braunfels. Kitchen and bathrooms were clean which is always most important. It got cold out so we didn't go outside much, but there are multiple places to sit outside and enjoy the view when the weather is nice. We did run the window AC units for a little while when we first got there and they worked well. We had three adults and found it to be a comfortable stay for a good price. Thanks for sharing your cute cottage with travelers!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this rustic Lake Dunlap house. The backyard was the reason we rented this VRBO.I was great to be right on the water. The hot tub was a plus, warmed right up for the cold December nights. Quiet neighborhood. There is someone who lives on the property, but we never saw them or heard them, just a car would come and go periodically. We definitely felt we had our own space and privacy. It was not an issue at all. The house itself is rustic, no frills. I really do not want to write a bad review per say, because we did have a good time... but let's say this place has potential. A paint job, new fresh linens, and some general TLC of the property and grounds would make this VRBO a sought-after place to stay.
