About this property

'Monte da BoaVista' is only ten minutes walking from the centre of Borba. This is the ideal family holiday house : three bedrooms (one with two individual beds, one with a double bed and a crib and one - no separate entrance door - with an individual bed; see detailed description below).
The kitchen is completely equipped (dishwasher, washer, freezer, fridge, nespresso machine, induction cooker, iron). WiFi is available.
The house has a big terrace (with table and chairs) for you to enjoy the wonderful view on Borba and surroundings, and gaze at the stars on warm summer nights. To top it all off, our pool keeps you cool on summer days and offers a great view of Borba and beyond while swimming!
The property has many orange trees, a lemon tree, pears, olive trees.
Borba is situated in Alentejo, 180 km from Lisbon, 50 km from Evora and by highway only 25 minutes away from Badajoz (Spain).
The town lies in the middle of the marble industry of Portugal (between Estremoz and Vila Viçosa). There's lots of good food and wine which you can buy at the local 'adega cooperativa'.
Places to visit are Vila Viçosa (with the magnificant Palace of the Duke of Bragança, castle, etc), Estremoz, Evora, Redondo, Elvas, Alandroal...

Why they chose this property

Monte da BoaVista is our country home to escape city life during the weekends. We fell in love with the stunning view and the many places to visit around Borba.
We constantly upgrade the house: in July 2019 the pool was inaugurated to make the warm summer days even more enjoyable (heated in autumn and spring), the rooms are heated, in February 2023 the bathroom was fully modernised.
