Seaview getaway

Lovely apt. Great view & gated community . Only hiccup was the exist headed south is flooded and impassable. One has to ho further south for a northbound turnaround for exit to gated community.

The property is a two story guesthouse. It has its own patio and balcony with ocean view. Its clean and has a homey feeling to it. The owners are very friendly. It seemed it may be for 4 ppl, but I think its more a 2, its very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay, its in a very quiet gated community. Anyone who wants to relax from the city noise would love this cute gem.

We had a very disappointing experience at this property. The casita had no air conditioning and no washer/dryer, despite being listed as having these amenities. When I reached out to the host about the issues (including my intent to check out early), my first several messages went unanswered.The host also held a loud karaoke party until 10 PM — even though the listing says “no parties.” He told me he could host one if he wanted. The next day, he hired workers to sand and paint the casita exterior for the entire day, which created nonstop noise and dust while we were supposed to be relaxing. With no AC, closing the windows to reduce the noise wasn’t an option.Ultimately, we had to leave early and book another hotel because the property was unlivable. When I asked about a refund for the unused night, the host argued with me instead of taking accountability.I would not recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet or comfortable stay.

Air conditioning is not listed as an amenity and never has been. Wash and dry machines are there, but Zachary never told me he needed to use them. The first time he complained about not having AC was on September 16, five days after his staying began, and as I sayed, AC is not listed as an amenity. He also complained about the music, but I dont' think 10 pm is a terrible time to stop a party in a weekend. And it is simply not true that I told him that "I could host one if I wanted". And finally, the sanding and painting was not done on the casita where he was staying, but on my own house. It was a mistake on my part, I recognize that, but he didn't say ANYTHING to me during the 6 hours that happened, so I could immediately stop it. He waited until the next day, September 16, to send me a message about the three problems: not having AC, the party until 10 pm and the sanding near his casita. I was traveling (driving all day) and saw his message pretty late that evening). Finally, I offered Zachary to refund him the night he didn't stay (my offer is in a written form), but he threatened to sue me and force me to refund his whole staying. What I think is that Zachary is trying to get a refund without a justified reason. I do not recommend anyone to host Zachary. It is the first time I have an experience like this. And anybody can check my record as a hoast in Vrbo and Airbnb. Francisco Ricardo
