We loved coming into this gated community and feeling safe while visiting Texas as we had never been to this area before. The host was kind and prompt. We were greeted with a lovely welcome gift. However there were several issues with this property. Upon arriving the host let us know there was a tree down making the front steps/door inaccessible. The host did warn us about this issue so we thought nothing of it prior to arrival. Once we got to the house, around back to the pool area and inside we discovered the pictures on this listing are not accurate with the way the house sits today. Most of the decor/furniture including beds are different. None of the outdoor furniture pictured was there with the exception of the hanging egg chairs. Up keep to the out door area was less to be desired. Could not have utilized the outdoor kitchen due to it being unclean and seemingly run down. Indoors, there were no appropriate towels in bathrooms, and host's personal items were left in unlocked bedroom closets and bathroom cabinets. Also encountered several notable bugs indoors while here. Overall it was not a terrible experience, but the listing on VRBO needs to be updated and house/grounds could use more attention to detail especially considering the cost of the property to rent.
