About this property

Located in Arkansaw, this tiny haus is a dream. With a cozy sleeping area featuring a full bed, a modern bathroom with a shower, a spacious screened in porch, AC, and heating. Guests will have a tremendous stay in this friendly community . There are two places to pick up food and drinks and plenty of hiking and atv trails to explore. I look forward to hosting you at my tiny haus.

You will be staying across the street from the Rec Hall where they have delicious pizzas, and next door to Ree Pete's bar and grill where you can get burgers, fish fry on Friday's and Sunday morning breakfast buffet.

There is a screened in porch off the back of the Tiny Haus with a hammock and room to relax after a day of biking or hiking around the area. Get food from the local area to enjoy out back by the Arkansaw Creek.

A great location for hunters, hikers, snowmobilers, fishing as it is on a class A trout stream, close to the Tiffinay Bottoms and Lake Pepin. Stockholm offers unique gift shops with items from local artists and multiple places to eat ! Hop Dish and Vine, and Humblemoon Saloon are two of my favorites. Then in Maiden Rock… Venus and Ole’s has farm to table scratch food with outdoor seating where you can gaze at lake Pepin. ( and my art is on display there😉)

I grew up in River Falls WI and attended UW Stout and have always been in love with how beautiful the area is. The landscape reminds me of my travles to Norway. I am renting my tiny haus so others can enjoy the area and all the beauty it has to offer.

Peaceful relaxation. No highway noise. No airplane or bus noise, just the occasional tractor or motorcycle going down the main drag.
Prepare to surround yourself with rolling hills, eagles, deer, turkeys and water. From the Arkansaw Creek behind the tiny haus, Chippewa River over in Durand or Lake Pepin in Pepin. Hiking trails and ATV trails are abundant too.

Enjoy a pizza across the street at Rec Hall or a burger at Ree Pete’s Or bring your food home to enjoy on the back porch.
