We were extremely disappointed that this was two separate units and not one cohesive house despite me asking ahead of time if it was one house. There was no layout provided on your website. The property manager through Casago wouldn’t refund the money despite it being unsafe for our children to have to sleep on the separate unit. The living room was too small for all of us. The pool was cloudy and needed more chlorine but the property manager refused to tell us where the chlorine was. The master bedroom door knob was broken and couldn’t be locked. There were no trash bags provided that would fit the trash can.

Michaela — thank you for taking the time to leave this feedback. I’m very sorry your stay did not meet expectations.
We take each of the issues you raised seriously and investigated them immediately:
- Representation/layout: we have reviewed the listing and our reservation messages to confirm how the property was described.. The listing does have a floor plan and description describing two entrances.
- Safety and sleeping arrangements: we understand your concern about children sleeping in a separate unit and will review your booking notes and our communication regarding options and remedies.
- Pool condition: pool chemicals and supplies are kept secured for guest safety; the on-site team is responsible for balancing the pool. We will have the pool tested and treated, if needed. There is regular professional pool service weekly.
- Maintenance items: we will inspect and repair the master bedroom door knob/lock right away.
- Supplies: we will ensure appropriate trash can liners are provided and restocked.
- Living room size: we will review the listing’s description to make sure room sizes are represented accurately.
Thank you for bringing these matters to our attention.
This place was awesome, we live in Ponte Vedra beach and my sister and brother in law and their son came to visit. We decided to get a place in Vilano to get the best of both, the beaches and Old St Augustine. This place is spacious comfortable and walking distance to stores, the beautiful pier and the beach. We had no complaints, we will consider this place in the future.
Great location short walk to the beach and shops. Downstairs unit beds were uncomfortable wish they were the same as upstairs unit but overall we had a great stay.
I wish I could have communicated with a host and not a management company. I also don’t think the owners of the property would appreciate how this house was left. There was cockroaches, things didn’t work. The description did not really state it was two separate rental properties with no inside access to eachother, we were on a family vacation and expected to be together. The location was amazing for what we were there for besides the neighbors. The deck only has a view right into their cluttered yard and they have a camper that looks right into the backyard. It wasn’t comfortable enjoying the deck or the backyard. The downstairs rental bathroom had black mold, the bedroom floors and walls were dirty. One bedroom with a tv we couldn’t use because the batteries in the remote were covered in battery acid and even after changing the batteries that we had to purchase, it didn’t work. The other bedroom closet door fell off every time you opened it. The water was yellow everywhere, in every toilet, every sink and even the ice and water hooked up to the refrigerator. Honestly I want to be refunded for some of this trip. We were there for a wedding and this added completely unnecessary stress.
Not aware was two separate units having to go outside to access upstairs.
Listed as king in one bedroom upstairs and 2nd bedroom as 2 queens. Was more like a full and a trundle pull out twin. Owner was awesome. Pool was great . Sleeping arrAngements were very difficult for us as we had expected two queens uostairs.

While the general location was great, for the cost the home, it really needs some care. The kitchen cabinet was broken, multiple lights were out in the home, the pool was usable and had to call and have someone come clean it out plus we couldn’t lock the front door so someone had to come change out batteries so we could. There was a nail sticking out of the front door upon entering which we had to be careful of with kids. The knifes in the kitchen were all dull and the master bedroom TV didn’t work. The backyard was nice but the outdoor amenities were not usable. It was advertise with cornhole and there was a basketball net but the balls were flat and the cornhole was plastic popups with no bags. We were local so we went home and grabbed ours. As stated, location was nice but for the cost I would have expected better.
