Welcome to our charming A-frame retreat, nestled right on the riverside edge of the beautiful Hudson River. This unique home is the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a warm and inviting open-plan living space, featuring high A-frame ceilings and large windows that flood the space with natural light. The interior is tastefully decorated with a mix of vintage and contemporary furnishings, creating a cozy and homely atmosphere.

The living room, with its comfy seating and stunning river views, is the perfect spot to curl up with a good book or enjoy a movie night. The fully-equipped kitchen is a dream for any home cook, complete with all the essentials you need to whip up a delicious meal.

The main floor has the kitchen, full bath, and bedroom with a queen size bed.

Upstairs, you'll find the loft-style bedroom, complete with a plush queen-size bed, 2 twin beds, and breathtaking views of the Hudson River. Imagine waking up to the sight of the sun rising over the river - it's a truly magical experience!

In the basement is a fun space to watch a movie or play a game. It also includes a full size futon, laundry facilities and a half bath.

Outside, there's a spacious deck where you can relax and soak up the serene river views. There's also a BBQ grill for those summer cookouts and a fire pit for cozy evenings under the stars.

Located just steps from the river, our A-frame retreat offers a wealth of outdoor activities right on your doorstep.

Fort Edward is close to many of the places the north country has to offer. 30 minutes from both Saratoga and Lake George. For the winter months we are 20 minutes to West Mountain Ski Area, and 30 minutes from the Vermont border. 20 minutes to the Outlets, 5 minutes to nearest grocery store and 1 minute to a convenience store. There are many local eateries within a short walk.

We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay while ringing in the New Year. The neighborhood amenities were great, and the location was convenient to restaurants and shopping. The views of the Hudson River were awesome. This is definitely a place I would stay again!

Host was extremely helpful, kind, and quick to respond. The house was clean and fully stocked. The location is right near some restaurants and a grocery store, making it easy to go out and grab something quick. We will definitely be coming back!

We are a family of 5 from upstate NY, and we hope that one day this is our retirement home. We always wanted to be by the water, and this is perfect! We have enjoyed opening up our home so you can enjoy the river, enjoy the village of Fort Edward and nearby communities, and the fun of Lake George and Saratoga.

Why they chose this property

Our home is located on historical Roger’s Island. It is close to town, close to the river boat launch, 25ish minutes to Lake George and Saratoga. Enjoy the community farmers Market on Thursdays (during the summer), local eateries, and the locks of the upper Hudson.

What makes this property unique

We have a beautiful floor plan that covers 4 different levels. A full walkout basement living room with half bath and laundry, the main floor has kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, the next level has the dining area and main living/family room, and the top floor is an open loft with a queen bed and 2 twin beds. All with views of the river and the yacht basin directly across from our deck. Watch the boats come in and out, and tie up. You never know how big a boat or barge you may see.
