About this property

As one of Buttonwood Bay’s most highly sought after condo units, this bay-front 2 bedroom, 2 ½ bathroom home will awe you as soon as you open the door. This completely remodeled unit will show you why Buttonwood Bay is Key Largo’s premier destination.

Your end-unit townhouse has open bay views behind it, sunset views to through the side windows and a 36' boat slip out the front door. This two-story unit on “The Island” offers a renovated and updated kitchen with counter seating to keep the chef company while they cook up your fresh catch (or one purchased at the local seafood market). There is also a built-in bar to help you make the perfect sunset cocktail after a long day of fishing (or lounging by the pool). The main floor has an open concept living area with the kitchen overlooking the dining room (seats 8) and living room with a flat screen TV. There is also a ½ bath on the 1st floor.

On the 2nd floor you will find 2 additional bathrooms and bedrooms. The master bedroom, with its own private bathroom, offers a king size bed where you can kick up your feet and watch the boats go by on the bay. Not that you’ll ever get bored of the view, but just in case, there is also a flat screen TV and desk in the master. A second bedroom with a queen size bed and 1 set of bunk beds allow another family or friends to visit comfortably. From this bedroom there is a door to the 2nd full bathroom.

Buttonwood Bay is minutes from John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, deep sea and flats fishing charters, or swimming with dolphins. The beautiful Florida Keys offer exceptional outdoor activities such as sport fishing, scuba diving, reef snorkeling, back water kayaking, bike riding, and boating. Nearby there are great local restaurants featuring freshly caught seafood, lively music and island-style entertainment!

Great location

Very nice unit. Excellent location. Owner very kind in dealing with maintenance issues. Buttonwood is great. BUT getting way too expensive for future visits.

Great unit and location.

This unit has a gorgeous view of the Bay and the updates to the unit are great. It is well stocked, very comfortable and a short walk to the slip. Would stay there again.

Best location in Buttonwood Bay

This unit is absolutely beautiful and is the best location in Buttonwood Bay, which we consider the premiere development in Key Largo. It is direct bayfront, with beautiful views and pocket beaches where you can float or swim in solitude. (Buttonwood Bay has a larger beach on the other side of the development, but it can be crowded on weekends or holidays.). Because the unit is an end unit and has extensive side windows, you have water views from most rooms. The renovation of the unit is superb, very attractive and comfortable. The king-size master bed is very comfortable, and the master bath, with dual shower heads and dual sinks, is great. A wine cooler is a nice addition that is not standard in Buttonwood Bay units. Also, the unit was renovated to provide two full baths and one powder room, very convenient if you have guests and everyone is trying to get ready for dinner. The back porch furniture is charming for al fresco dining if it is cool enough. And, of course, you have access to all Buttonwood Bay amenities -- tennis and pickle ball courts, pools, and gym. The only downside was that the ice maker was not working, and the owner did not get anyone out to fix it when notified. This was not a big deal, as there is a marine store on site where we purchased ice. Altogether we had a wonderful, relaxing stay.
