This premium 630 sq ft condo is located in the historic and elegantly restored Bab's building. The charismatic Babs, built in 1905, will take you to the soul of the Missoula community in a heartbeat. Centrally located on Missoula's vibrant Hip Strip, the Babs is surrounded by the city's best restaurants and bakeries. Everything is just a walk away.

The condo has been thoughtfully designed for a homey 'Victorian/Queen Ann feel' and is ideal for out-of-town visitors looking to explore Missoula and the surrounding area. Rather new, functional and open kitchen, high ceilings and new windows bring lots of natural light to the space. Updated bathroom, appliances and other amenities are complimented by the original rough oak floors, vintage arches and exposed brick walls reminding visitors of the old times. The master bedroom comes with a private bathroom, air conditioner, a king-sized Tempur-Pedic mattress and solid wood hickory bed frame and nightstands. The living room with two couches is made for relaxation. Search the web using high speed wireless internet, watch a movie or play Wii on the HD flat screen TV, or read a book in the rocking chair.

Along with this clean, comfortable and secure condo come the additional onsite features for relaxation and entertainment:
- An entirely renovated, communal basement lounge including an official-sized pool table, a big screen Cable TV and comfortable seating. Also, a sink, toilet, and washer and dryer are easily accessible.
- A classic, fenced garden with a large communal patio including chairs, tables, benches and a propane Viking grill.

The condo is on the first floor. The washer and dryer and the communal lounge are located in the basement, one flight of stairs down.

We enjoyed our stay at the Babs. There were many city events within easy walking distance. Farmers market, food truck Wednesday lunch and Thursday dinner. Music festivals in the streets. A downtown full of vitality. Beautiful setting near the river, with great walking trails.

Always a nice stay

We enjoy the location of the Babs. We have stayed here before …we usually stay several days at a time. I do have concerns about some safety issues in the bathroom in the apt we stayed in. The bathtub is super slippery and there are no safety hand rails. Also I fell down those front steps ……there again are no hand rails….nothing to hold on too… they must be real dangerous in the winter. I bruised up my ankles and knees pretty bad and my wrists still hurt. Other than that…if we stay at the Babs again we’d like to rent the basement apartment ….. no steps. I do have pictures of my injuries and two nice gentlemen came to my aid. Do you cc camera out front ? Still love the Babs!

Such a nice condo right in the heart of Missoula. This place is close to everything and easy to bicycle from to the majority of Missoula. House had everything we needed and was well appointed. Great experience and would definitely stay here again if we come back to Missoula

Amazing location! Full of charm!

My husband and I were in town for our sons graduation. The home is in a perfect location so close to the University and a short walk to downtown over the amazing bridge that crosses over the Clark Fork River! We loved walking there every day. The home is great! Has everything you need. The bed is very comfortable. The home is historic and has so much character! The host was very quick to respond and helpful when needed. We will definitely be back.

Back once again!

At this point I’ve stayed in three different suites in the Babs. They have all been amazing! My daughter is a student at UM and we live 1,800 miles away. These are fully furnished apartments, I was able to enjoy a little taste of home and bring my family together for family meals even had everything I needed to cook a full thanksgiving meal for her and her friends back in November of 2022. I love this place!

This property is in a GREAT location in Missoula, walking distance to several good coffee shops, and just across the bridge from downtown Missoula and all the great restaurants there. Rates at the time of our stay were very reasonable. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at the Bab building! The location was perfect for walking downtown and the building is so beautiful! The only recommendation we have would be for the owners to upgrade the tv to something with streaming capability! Late night movies are hard with just cable. Otherwise it was perfect!

Ready to move in!

I loved my time in Missoula at Jenni's place. The apartment had everything I could possibly need and the location was absolutely perfect. Walking distance to everything but still felt pretty quiet. There was construction on the building while I was there so there was no parking in front of the building but finding parking a block or two away was never a problem. Jenni was great to communicate with and helped me address the small issues that popped up. Highly reccomend!

Lovely condo in a great location

My husband and I stayed at this condo for two weeks in late August/early September. The condo was quite comfortable, clean, and convenient. It was also cool - in the middle of a pretty long heat wave, and very quiet. Jenny was very helpful and responsive to our inquiries. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Missoula!

Great 6 week stay at the Babs

My girlfriend and I stayed for 6 weeks at the Babs in this condo and it was a great stay. The king size bed was very comfy and the kitchen table worked well with both of us working from it. The location was an incredible draw for us and it really was awesome. Walkable to main restaurants, coffee shops and most importantly the river! We left a double river tube behind so best of luck to the next guests that get the pleasure of using it. It served a great purpose!

Lovely apartment close to downtown

I stayed here for a month with my dog while I was exploring Montana. It was the perfect spot. I worked from home and the Wi-Fi worked great. The building is nice and quiet as is the neighborhood and yet a quick 5 to 10 minute walk over the bridge gets you right to downtown. There’s a good ice cream spot around the corner. Would highly recommend.

We travel a lot and stay in a variety of situations depending on what’s available. Our stay at the Babs Building was everything we’d hope for and more. It’s a fantastic location in Missoula where you can pretty much walk everywhere in the Hip Strip and the downtown area. The condo was well furnished with everything we needed. It’s a historic building that has been beautifully refurbished. Large deep sink in the kitchen, very comfortable king size bed, beautifully appointed bathroom, and hardwood and tile floors. Checki-in was breeze. Jenni was a great host and we look forward to staying there again when we return to Missoula.

Enjoyed this well-appointed apartment just off Higgins south of the river. Fun neighborhood, but not too loud. Apartment was very clean with everything we needed. It was one of the coldest days of the year, but the heat was wonderful and we found the place very comfortable. Good mattress, too.

Missoula, as for many people, is a special place to us. It is where we met as students in college and where we always knew we wanted to call home. After school, however, life and work took us to Asia, Finland and New York City, before we could both settle back in Missoula together and start our family. Now with our 3 children, we are pleased to share all that the Missoula community has to offer with visitors at our Bab’s condo.

Why they chose this property

Jenni first came to Missoula as an exchange student attending grad school from Finland. She immediately fell in love with the surrounding landscape and community but most of all Kurt. Kurt’s family is from the area and always knew the Montana lifestyle was the only one for him. They both enjoy the outdoor and cultural opportunities Missoula has to offer including skiing up Pattee Canyon, taking their children to Missoula’s award-winning public library or enjoying Missoula’s restaurants, breweries and distilleries. They feel fortunate to call Missoula home and are pleased to share their love of the area with each of their guests.

What makes this property unique

The Babs is one of Missoula’s premiere historic buildings. Located near several of Missoula’s gems including downtown, the Kim Williams trail and the University, visitors can easily walk or bike to restaurants, shopping, bars, and hiking trails. Not to mention the best ice cream (The Big Dipper), pastries (Le Petite) and beer (Kettle House) are just around the corner. In addition, the condo itself is fully stocked with the comforts of home including a full kitchen and king-size Tempurpedic bed. The Babs also offers a rec room with a pool table and a garden area with a Viking grill for guest use.
