My wife and I have stayed at Pointe Carniel Lodge for 3 years in a row and keep coming back because the hosts are wonderful, conscientious and so respectful of our privacy. They just make the stay so pleasant. The view/spot is fantastic, it’s perfect for lounging on the beach, swimming and fishing and has the right atmosphere of peace and quiet to enjoy a relaxed vacation with my wife. Everything is well maintained and clean and we’ve cooked ourselves some great meals with the simple and scaled down but well appointed little kitchen/bbq in Raspberry Close. Highly recommended.

Beautiful spot, friendly hosts.

Was well kept and in a beautiful location. Gorgeous area and cabin with everything needed for a gateway with my wife. Hosts were welcoming/did a great job at being available while also respecting privacy.

Peaceful

Beautifully situated and close to the water. Birds and wildlife in the area were most enjoyable. Access to hiking trails was convenient.

We had an awesome, peaceful time. Just what we wanted. Very quiet and fairly secluded. Hosts were terrific. Highly recommend it!

Another good stay, thank you

It's a beautiful remote location. The cottage was comfortable and welcoming. Things to know: The listing needs updating, there is no DVD player and the wood stove has been removed Note there is no shower, but the hot tub is good. It is on property with an adjacent working hobby farm. Your privacy is complete but construction sounds could be intrusive at times. Still, I would not hesitate to recommend and hope to return.

This is my idea of a cottage

Simple yet with all I needed, Not overdone as a home might be. I am rating the Blueberry Cottage, btw, The one I booked wasn't available so I got the other they have for the same price. This is why I only gave 4 stars to the accuracy of the listing, I didn't see the cottage I originally booked. The beach and water are pristine, perfect for kids. And there is wilderness hiking nearby. I'm planning on returning, possibly with my grandchildren..Oh,Ron is a great hose and Felicitas' bread is wonderful!

Ron was super helpful and helped me patch up my tire that got a flat. Cottage was clean, the beach was beautiful and the animals were all super friendly. Highly recommend.
