This historic yet modernly renovated condo provides the ultimate home-away-from-home experience with unmatched hospitality. You can relax with comfortable beds, blackout curtains, a relaxing couch, high-speed WiFi, and Hulu + Live TV channels.
We've maintained the character of this historic 1920's building, while completely updating and renovating the interior. This second floor condo has large double-hung windows that let in an abundance of light in all the rooms, along with a sunroom featuring floor to ceiling windows. Additionally, the original refinished hardwoods, bathroom tile, graceful arched doorways and two-panel doors provide the charm so often absent in new construction.
Relax in the spacious living room featuring a large, upholstered sofa and a flatscreen television with streaming and Live TV. Enjoy the artwork by local artist Nico Amortegui, well-known for large-scale paintings and installations throughout NC and The Smithsonian.
The kitchen features a gourmet gas range, a convection oven, a refrigerator with an ice maker, a dishwasher, and a stackable washer and dryer. Granite countertops complete the kitchen, which comes fully equipped with essentials such as measuring cups, spoons, mixing bowls roasting pans and garlic press. The adjacent dining room comfortably seats four with all the place settings. The balcony is perfect for sitting and drinking some morning coffee or tea and has beautiful views of the willow oaks. This unit features a Peloton stationary bike for your personal use.
A desk and ultra-fast Wi-Fi enable business travelers to stay plugged into their busy schedules.
The main bedroom has a king-sized bed with a television and a generous closet. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a flatscreen television. The twin beds can be pushed together to create one king sized bed. Furnishings may vary slightly from photographs as we periodically update. The bathroom is spotless and features plush towels. Included in our amenity package are a starter supply of Nest bath products as well as detergents.
The building has a shared patio that includes a grill, tables, and chairs. This is the perfect spot to have a cookout with your party while enjoying the beautiful scenery.
Located in historic Myers Park, Queens Road is the heart of Charlotte’s premier neighborhood replete with wide sidewalks and towering oaks throughout the neighborhood. This incredibly safe community provides an ideal place for walking or jogging and is just a short stroll from multiple coffee shops and restaurants.
Within a half mile walking distance are more than 40 locally owned restaurants (Thai, Italian, French, and Mexican), as well as Starbucks, Panera, and Old Pancake House. Our favorite full-service spots, include Stagioni (Italian), RuRu’s (casual Mexican), and Napa on Providence. If you are looking for local gems, check out Laurel Market, Summit Coffee, Bond Street Wines, and Fenwick’s.
On the ‘Myers Park Mile,’ you will find many locally owned shops including antiques, fine gifts, wines, and bespoke clothing for men and women. Spring through fall, Simpson’s Farmers Market on Kings is just around the corner and open Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday.
Charlotte’s renowned greenway is less than a half mile away. From there, you can bike, run, or walk along the 30 miles of trails. We are also very close to Freedom Park, Dilworth, Plaza-Midwood, the Atrium Medical Center (Levine Children’s Hospital and Levine Cancer Institute) and the Novant Hospital complex. The parks and open walking spaces make the area perfect for those with a furry friend. Many of our neighborhood restaurants have patios that welcome dogs.
We love hosting guests for both short or long-term stays. So, whether you are here for business, pleasure, or visiting someone at either Atrium or Novant Hospitals, our goal is for you to feel at home during your stay. We will try hard to accommodate any special requests and are readily available should something come up. We look forward to hosting you.
