About this property

Modern Mountaintop Retreat on Sixty Acre Woods

Please note: This property has a steep driveway. While regularly plowed/sanded -4x4 or AWD vehicles are STRONGLY recommended for easy winter access. This sunlit home is nestled on the side of the Bridger Mountain range, just 10 minutes from downtown Bozeman and 25 minutes from Bridger Bowl Ski Hill. You will have 60 acres of stunning pine forests to explore or ski.
Watch the sunset over the whole valley from the porch or snuggle up by the wood burning fireplace- this home has something for everyone and fast, efficient wifi for remote work. A one of a kind Montana experience that combines rugged natural beauty and thoughtful, modern design.

The space:
This home is situated on 60 acres and combines sweeping valley views with warm wood interiors and lots of natural light. We border the Gallatin National forest on our eastern boundary. Furnished with comfortable beds, soft seating, and finished with thoughtful touches and hand-made art from local artists. The circle-saw fir floors and natural stone finishings bring the beauty of the outside in.
The property is yours to explore, hike, snowshoe, or crosscountry ski. We share the space with many species of Montana's iconic wildlife--deer and turkeys roam the hillside along with fox, elk, coyotes, bears, and other native species.

We are located 10 minutes from downtown Bozeman, 20 minutes from the airport, 25 from Bridger Bowl Ski Hill, and one hour from Big Sky. We are one of the highest homes in the bridger mountain range and have the driveway to prove it:) Even though we're just 10 minutes from downtown Bozeman, you will feel as though you have the mountains to yourself:)

Important note about our driveway:
One consequence of living on a mountainside is our driveway is quite steep. In winter months, we strongly recommend 4WD or AWD vehicle. We keep the driveway plowed regularly, but icy conditions can still make the last stretch challenging — at times, you may need to park below and walk up the final bit. We promise a warm, comfy space is waiting for you at the top!
