No Golf just Relaxation

The condo was nice, but dated. It does need freshening. The neighborhood was good and the neighbors were very nice. Everything was close by. If you stay try Delia's Tamales they're great. The owner was very accommodating with our extension of stay.

Overall was just okay. My mom has limited mobility. As unit is located in center of courtyard, it proved a challenge going in and out. Walk in shower in second bathroom was non-functional, again not an ideal situation for my mom. Bedding, linens and towels need replacing . While they were clean, they were rather worn out. Front door also needs new lock set , as current one is faulty. For the price, location and overall stay, it was a good value.

Winter vacation to remember

We arrived earlier then reservation so it wasn't ready. This was our fault. When we finally was able to move in, we had to plug in refrigerator. After a day or 2 it didnt get cold so we contacted owner. No return calls. We had to go buy a small fridge for counter until it got fixed which took at least a week. Then blower didnt work on ac/heater unit. Again called owner no replies. Finally he called us and sent someone to repair. Then the power outage didnt help matters. Heated pull was not heated because hoa had to get it repaired. It was finally fixed but never really heated up. It was pretty cold when you got it. Then the description of place said remodeled. No it wasn't. The entire place needed to be done except flooring. All in all, it was a winter vacation to remember!

Great location surrounded by a golf course. Spacious fully equipped (furniture, linens, washer/dryer, cooking utensils, Wi-Fi, and cable television) apartment in a very quite community. Relax in the heated pool or go shopping within a few minutes drive. The grounds are well maintained. Covered parking for your vehicle is also provided. Would certainly stay again on my next visit to the Valley. The owner was very friendly and certainly made us feel welcomed.

I am Carlos Gutierrez, My family and I don't live at Golf view manor. However we don't miss an opportunity to go there every time we can. We live in Monterrey, Mexico which is 120 miles away from Golf view Manor. We go and stay at Golf view manor about once a month for a weekend. We like football as we cheer for the Houston, Texans in the NFL and the Michigan Wolverines in the NCAA, Probably because that's where I went to school several years ago...GO BLUE !!!

Why they chose this property

We bought this property because we fell in love with the area and the people we met golfing. We have been visiting South Texas for years since it's a shopping paradise and we started to visit the area quite often. until we decided it was time to get our own place there. We bought Golf view manor because its location, In Mission, Tx Where life is more relaxing and at the same time you are just minutes away from the city life. Once we made some friends playing golf at Shary Golf course, they invited us to gather at Golf view Manor. A few months later we found out of the units was for sale. it's about an hour away from the beach at South Padre Island.
