Due to this being a walk out basement apartment, there was a musty smell. This was not listed as a below the resident’s house rental until we received the check-in information. However, the place itself was clean, comfortable, and in a quiet neighborhood.

Overall, I liked the property. It was clean and conveniently located within 15 minutes of the activities I had planned. What I didn't like was that despite several text messages and requests to adjust the temperature, it wasn't done. I kept my jacket on and my head covered the entire time because it was too cold. There is no thermostat and it can only be changed by the owners. Casego was helpful initially and then communication just stopped. There was a portable heater there that I kept on. I closed all vents and it was still too cold. The only other thing was the noise level coming from upstairs. Whatever happens on their floor is heard thru the ceiling. Ordinary walking wasn't it. It often sounded like a stampede or wrestling session was happening. It was only during my last night did I realize it was a very energetic dog running around and was probably being chased and it so.eti.es sou ded like things were being thrown down on the floor. The comfort level of the renter should be taken into consideration. No one should have to stay bundled up during the summer to stay warm.

For some reason there is no thermostat control that I can find. I didn’t like that. We had to run a heater to overpower the air conditioning.
