Mountain McErb boasts SEVEN private bedrooms along with 4 full bathrooms. The open concept renovated kitchen and dining area makes this a great house for families and large groups to gather. New whole house AC Units to keep you cool in the summer months. There are two beautiful large decks with hot tub and plenty of room for congregating to enjoy the mountain views. The game room includes a brand new hand-crafted bar, full refrigerator/freezer, pool table, card table, sectional couch and large flat screen TV.

This mountain home is conveniently nestled between Jack Frost and Big Boulder Ski Mountains in the desirable Lake Harmony Estates. It is a quick 1 minute drive to Big Boulder and less than 5 minutes to Jack Frost. The mountains are reciprocal (passes may be used at both mountains). The Split Rock Lodge is less than a mile away and boasts miniature golf, bowling, movies, video arcade and an indoor water park!

Very roomy. We all had our own bedrooms. The beds were a little uncomfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. No lights in the back . Pool sticks were broken, we borrowed from a friend who lives close by or we would would not have been able to play pool. But overall we liked the house and had a really great time Jacuzzi was great, we all loved it. The two decks were really nice.

Not meeting expectations

This property has the potential to be great. Unfortunately, A/C was not working despite setting all units to same temperature. The cleanliness was bothersome. A good 10-15 candy wrappers stashed behind and under the couch. Owner was responsive at first and then ghosted us. Hot tub was not maintained properly and unusable.We decided to leave the property due to unresolved issues and lack of communication.

I read reviews before we booked, and took my chances. I am totally satisfied with our stay! Convenient to where we eat, very clean when we arrived! We actually had deer come up to the porch and they let us feed them right from our hands! Overall satisfied and will rent again!

We rent a house each year for NYE…this year we decided on the poconos and we’re so excited! Until we got to the house, upon pulling into the driveway that was covered in trash, we walked into the home that needs many renovations. Peeling paint, unsteardy railings, upgrades to everything. Just to name a few. We paid a cleaning fee and the house was anything short of clean. Found many things under all the beds, there were pills under the couch, dust pretty much everywhere. Just a disappointment. I spoke to the owner and he apologized and said we would speak to make it right…I’m still waiting to speak to him!

We purchased the property in 2013 as a new adventure and have had a blast renovating and redecorating - doing our best to make this a comfortable mountain getaway for family, friends and renters of all ages.
