Oceanfront home with volleyball, game room, pool, beach access & washer/dryer
New in our program, this home has many great reviews from past guests. Three levels of oceanfront luxury, with an elevator, await you at this lovely home. You'll enjoy spectacular amenities at this home, from a private pool with a bar to seven fantastic bedrooms, each with an ensuite bath.
Covered and open oceanfront decks allow you to enjoy the salty air and cool sea breezes from the perfect vantage point. Whether you're a sun-worshiper or a shade-seeker you'll find your ideal perch here.
Organize a friendly game of sand volleyball at your private court just behind the pool. When you're finished, you're halfway between the pool and the ocean. Take your pick to cool off. Your private pool deck is a lovely oasis. Enjoy a refreshing swim, then relax on one of the sun loungers and work on your tan. Later in the day, this area turns into your very own tropical lounge, with a wet bar and plenty of seating. Raise a glass to your good fortune at vacationing on Topsail Beach.
The hot tub on the mid-level deck is a soothing respite after a full day of vacationing. Allow those bubbling jets to soothe away any last cares or stress. For hours of fun and friendly competition, take advantage of the shuffleboard table. If old-fashioned gaming is more your speed, have a try at one of the two multi-game arcade machines. A dart board is also available for your leisure activity.
The great room is a wonderfully elegant space, with wide plank wood floors, warm earth tones, and classic nautical decor. It features three separate seating groups, wonderful for intimate conversations. A wall of windows and sliding glass doors leads out to the oceanfront deck. There, you'll find additional seating in the form of comfortable Adirondack chairs, perfect for sipping that morning cup of joe.
The formal dining room is equally classic, with a long dark-wood table and padded chairs that can accommodate a group as large as 16. Another large window looks out over the ocean, providing you with a permanent oceanfront table for 16. The large kitchen boasts oak cabinetry, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a center island with a vegetable sink. Everything for a fabulous family meal is right at the chef's fingertips. A breakfast bar for four is a convenient addition to the dining table seating.
Things to Know The fireplace is not operational. The private pool is typically open from May through October.

Very user friendly
The cottage was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and had plenty of storage space. The dinner table is huge. There is plenty of sitting space in the living room. This was an easy cottage in which to host our extended family. And Vacasa is an easy company to deal with. When it comes to vacations, "easy" is very good.
We rented the house for a family vacation. Newborn babies and jobs prevented some of the younger generation from joining us. The house was perfect though. Very well stocked and the location was perfect! Highly recommend!

Best Vacation Home
If you’re looking for the best well stocked kitchen ever, the LazyBeagle is it. We have stayed at a lot of rental homes in 17 years but never had a kitchen that we didn’t have to purchase something for. The dining room table was perfect for our large family. The house was very clean which was a big plus.

Renters beware; upon our arrival we found broken glass beside the pool. Thank goodness none of my grandkids stepped on it. They were running barefoot immediately. The weeds around the pool and on the pool patio are a huge eyesore! Really did not enjoy staring at that for the money we paid! The house has ants inside and out. They got in our vehicles and in my son's room majorly! He and his girlfriend had them all in their suitcases after 2 days stay. The room they were in is the first one on the left on second floor (left of elevator). I did give the house 4 stars only because everything else was perfect just want everyone to be on the lookout for these things. The inside was very well equipped and clean. The 2 rooms on the 4th floor are perfect for families with small children who would like them to stay in a room with them.

Nice place on the beach
Overall, this was an ok place to spend our week. The location on the beach is really great and the pool was also really great. It was well stocked in the kitchen. It had everything you needed plus some! The beds were ok.Not the best, not the worst. The negatives that we have are that many of the cabinets in the kitchen on the inside were not clean. One had a huge dark, sticky mess in it.There were paper towel liners in some cabinets but just overall they inside they didn't feel clean. We also had a HUGE ant issue mostly in the kitchen but also in some of the bedrooms. The ants were there before we ever even brought food into the house so this was not us being messy and leaving food out.We ended up contacting the company on day 3 and they did send out pest control who said this was really bad and one of the worst he has seen in a while. It did help get them out of the kitchen but they seemed to have moved into the bedroom right below the kitchen, making that room unusable.Ants were all over the ceiling and in all the beds. They did end up dying off after about 24 hours after pest control was there. The worst was the "game room" on the pool level. This room was absolutely DISGUSTING and unusable. It smelled beyond terrible of mold and mildew and the floor was covered in thousands of dead bugs.It is not even close to what is pictured. It was honestly close to a health hazard to even enter the room.We made the best of it but won't be staying here again.

Don’t rent this place.
This place is unacceptable. Do not rent here.
We stayed one year ago and it was great. We came and can’t understand how it has degraded so much in just one year. Plus, the air conditioning was out of commission for half of the house at it was 80+ degrees in half of the bedrooms, so we couldn’t sleep in them. The Vacasa people knew about the problem a week before (according to the repairman who was there when we arrived and told us it couldn’t be fixed). I had to call Vacasa several times and insist that Vacasa bring portable A/C u it’s, but they didn’t make much difference in the temperature. The Vacasa rep told us (on Saturday when we arrived) the repairman lied and they were authorizing emergency service to get it repaired. Wednesday evening at 7pm another guy showed up, said the compressor was broken, and told us it would t be fixed until they got replacement parts. We reached out to Vacasa but received no replies. Unacceptable.
Besides this…the ice maker leaked and dripped through the floor beneath. The repair guy moved the hose and told me I had to keep an eye on it
The outside shower was not usable because only the hot water supply was connected. Too hot to use without burning yourself.
The entire place, inside and out, is infested with ants. We bought a bunch of ant traps but they barely made a difference because the problem was so bad. You couldn’t even put your towel near the pool because it got full of ants in just a few minutes.
The pool was cloudy and dirty. My wife called Vacasa to ask them to send someone. They never sent anyone and didn’t reply either.
Most of the ceiling fans don’t work.
The drawers in the refrigerator are broken.
I could list a bunch of other issues, but I’m done wasting my time here. Overall, the house is dirty and run down.
I’ve been renting summer beach houses for over 20 years and have had so many wonderful experiences. I’ve never had anything like this experience. It was just awful. There are so many good options available. Don’t rent this place. You’ll be sorry.

Hi Adam, thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about the problems you encountered and the delays in support, which do not meet our standards. Your concerns have been forwarded to our team for prompt attention. They confirmed that routine pest control is in place, with additional ant traps and spray provided, the outdoor shower has been replaced, and the fridge drawers and shelves are regularly maintained due to frequent wear. We appreciate your input and hope to offer you a much better experience next time.
