You won't regret a stay with Vacasa!
Property was exactly as described. Very clean and the unit had everything you'd need from extra pillows to scissors in the kitchen! My next trip to Sunset Beach will definitely involve a stay with Vacasa Properties.
We rented a month early and had one minor issue. This time everything including the minor issue was taken care.

Nice place to stay at an excellent price!
We loved the convenience of location for our purposes. Plenty of towels and a well-stocked kitchen. Being on the second floor available only by stairs was not a problem at all, and the keyless entry was so convenient. The neighborhood was very quiet, and the view from the screened porch overlooking the pond with fountain was very relaxing. Would definitely stay here again!
Stay was very nice and we’d stay here again if available. Two issues (correctable) that we encountered was the abundance of cat or dog hair on porch that we had to vacuum up. Everything else was spotless and welcoming. The second issue was pots to boil water. We could not find any. Just two small pans. Thanks for sharing your place which was enjoyable having coffee on the porch.

Comfy and Cozy
We loved this place. We didn't need anything. Plenty of towels, pots and pans, dishes. Did I mention how spotless this place was. Plenty of room. Beautiful location. Very friendly people. Very dog friendly. We will be back.
Stayed in the area for the half marathon and to enjoy the beach. The place was clean, nice and quiet. Would stay again, as we liked the area. Property management company text and/or called leading up to our stay to sign extra forms and during our stay I heard from them some way or another daily. They asked how clean it was, how our check-in was, to tell them when we checked out. We were only there 2 days and I wanted to relax not feel bombarded on my phone constantly. Also, they have a ring camera so if they wanted to know when we left they could check that. Other than that. It was fine.
This condo was perfect for my adult son, 2 dogs, and me. Lots of places to walk them. The kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, utensils, hand towels, etc. It would have been nice to have a coffee maker, but the Keurig was nice. The balcony overlooking the pond was peaceful in this quiet community. The bathroom and kitchen was equipped with soaps, detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo. We'd definitely stay here again.
Overall, wonderful except pans and dishes need replaced. Pans worn out, the few bowls are chipped. And some glasses are chipped.
For comfort, I would remove the oversized chair in master bedroom so the door can be accessed. Especially, if there was a fire and need that escape route.

Beautiful clean place with lovely screened in porch!
Gorgeous neighborhood with a ton of green space. Gorgeous screened in porch. Great location. Nice pool. Plenty of parking. Spacious condo. One of the cleanest homes I've rented in 25 years. Really thoughtful touches like dishwasher and laundry detergent in home. Only even better if would be in the kitchen. If you're just looking for cereal and sandwiches during your stay - it's totally adequate with plates bowls and silverware. I've got a ton of food allergies so we cook - and the pots and pans really need to be replaced. I would absolutely rent here again and am already looking at the same dates next year. It's a lovely place.
We really enjoyed our stay but we did have trouble with the air conditioning and the wifi. Overall temperatures outside were in the high 80's. We had the air conditioning set at 71 and during the days, the inside temps were between 76 and 78! We even had the blinds closed in the main room. Also, the wifi is extremely slow so it was hard to work in the condo.

Not Bad!
Great location for beach lovers that do not want to pay the extra to be right on the water. Took several calls and a few days to get tv's working. The keypad to get in was very difficult to open & a constant frustration. It was off season and quiet but any locals we saw were friendly. We enjoyed having the balcony overlooking the pretty pond with turtles and lovely birds. We would have rated a 3 but feel due to the coming hurricane things probably were not typical.

Awesome October get away.
Condo and a in a beautiful area and close by Sunset beach calabash and North Myrtle. Fantastic golf courses very close by and north Myrtle courses just ten miles away or so. Played four of them.
Sunset beach itself is only couple miles and there’s great public beach right at the pier for long walks.
Fantastic restaurants in Calabash and sunset beach.
Condo well appointed and comfortable.
TV in main room a bit of a problem if you want to watch it in there.
Couldn’t figure out how to get cable to work. Oh well we weren’t there to watch TV.
We will most definitely come back. Thank you!
The property manager was outstanding. When we got to the property we were impressed....until I noticed there was no way to lock the patio door nor could we secure it with a pole because of the way it was installed. The managing company, VACASA, tried to get the owner to approve a replacement hanle with a lock, but I was told the owner said to wait. We planned on staying a week, but were able to complete what we needed to and checked out a couple days early. Just makes me believe if something goes wrong and needs to be repaired, it's probably not going to happen. The managing company gets a 5 star, the owner gets a 1 star, which averages to a 3 star.

Love the neighborhood, but a few issues with this property
This is our second time at Sandpiper Bay and we love the location, the quiet neighborhood, beautiful pond and well-kept pool.
"Salty Dogs" was nice, but we had a couple of issues, both of which Vacasa responded quickly to but were unable to fix during our stay. First, there was an electrical issue that caused the hallway light to flicker and second, there is no lock on the sliding door going out to the porch. Even though this property is on the second floor, not having a lock on the door is irresponsible and as a former military family, made us very uneasy.
It's also worth noting (as an FYI) there is no ice maker in the freezer, so you have to use the provided ice trays or buy bags of ice. Lastly, the kitchen table chairs are VERY "creeky" and loud.
Again, we love this neighborhood, we just won't stay in this particular unit again.
