The house was beautiful, and clean. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we could ask for (and the some). The area was quiet and peaceful and we would love to go back in the future. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!
Julie and Laura were at the top of check-in, check-out and communications. The place is so quiet and cute and very close to Gettysburg. Th epoint was to meet of friends half way from each others. We were right on target, had one of our best and fun weekend and we will definitely come back. Thank you
This was an excellent place to stay for our visit to Gettysburg. My fiance played in the Vintage Baseball Festival in Gettysburg last weekend, and this location to the fields was perfect for our family. The home was very clean, it had everything we needed for our weekend stay, and it was very quiet and peaceful. I will definitely stay here again if the baseball team plays in future festivals!
Great location to skiing and Gettysburg, but far enough away to feel like you are in the country and away from it all. Beautiful home, wonderful host - highly recommend.
Liberty is 10 minutes away thank you very convenient. All the property is private quiet and serene. The house itself is so cool. Had a great layout with a master bedroom and bathroom, downstairs living room, joint kitchen and dining and then upstairs were three additional bedrooms and another bathroom. We booked this rental to have two families, a family of four and a family of two to go snowboarding over a long weekend check in process is easy even though it’s a small town in the country we were able to easily get groceries delivered in the grocery options or comprehensive. My son and I both are gluten-free and preferred to cook versus eating food the lodge. There is an assortment of Ryan to go on 17. We’re currently open. We got snow every day although it wasn’t substantial from a skiing no worrying perspective. It was nice to be in that elemen. That historical house is so interesting as well decorated and comfortable despite being an updated historical home give an access to the property was easy so it check out. Everyone continue to say how much they loved the house throughout the day and will very likely be booking it again as he like the location and snowboarding option for our families. To know we had a few people in our party that were learning for the first time and there were slopes that accommodated brand new beginners all the way to Black diamond seasoned boarders
I arranged this trip for my dad and brothers. He’s in his 80s and Gettysburg has been on his bucket list for a very long time. I cannot say enough about the cabin or the host. Every detail was well thought out to make guests feel comfortable but still give you the experience of staying in a very old cabin. The convenience of the location and the attention to detail was outstanding. Added to that we had some special needs related to my dad’s mobility and they did all they could do to be supportive. I am a little envious I was not able to go on this trip with my dad but so thrilled he had an amazing experience in a really cool place!
5 stars for clean is not enough. Rough cut wood like this is almost impossible to clean dust yet no dust anywhere. Hundreds of “little things”. Everywhere you look little touches of charm complimenting the civil war era. Also, I’ve stayed in no less than 30 vacation homes and non have made you feel more welcomed and cherished as a guest. Very well stocked kitchen, lots of seating for dining and living room. A TV in almost every room. Modern conveniences without taking away from the historic look. It says “secluded” it absolutely is. I’m a country “gal” this makes me feel at home. Well worth the short drive to Gettysburg. If I’m ever in the area again, I won’t even look for another place. This is it.
